    I love the old movies. Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, Alan Ladd. I enjoy the film noire of the forties and early fifties: "The Big Sleep," "Kiss of Death," "This Gun for Hire," or "Double Indemnity." I'm absolutely a sucker for a very romantic movie like "Brief Encounter," "A Man and a Woman," or "One Touch of Venus," or a great war movie like "The Longest Day," or "Blackhawk Down."

Free Music I am a writer specializing in Military History and, in particular, World War II. I daresay there are few people who know all aspects of the war better than I. I am also an artist. Who I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet creative people, particularly in the art and literary field, but creative people all the same. Years ago I belonged to a small group of writers, artists, composers, singers and dancers, who met weekly to discuss our work and to encourage each other. I miss that group terribly. I would like to chat with women who are intelligent and creative, regardless of the way they express themselves. It would be particularly enjoyable for me if they happen to be people of substance and sincerity. All ages are most welcome, but I would especially like to meet women of my own age.
