My favourite comment by some friend of us of the the Sonic Barrels was, I think it was Trucker (sorry guys if I'm mistaken, the drugs ya know..) anyways he said after a gig we had together: "The other guys say you're more the Hellacopters style but I think you're more the MC5 kind." BatvglB are five restless Rockers, driven by the urge to conquer every nice chick, take every drug and drink every last drop of alcohol on this planet.
To achieve this they play fast, groovie and stylish Rock n'Roll.
Jan was brought up on records of Jimmy Page, Pete Townsend and Eddie van Halen, so guess which instrument he chose.
Steve seems to be one of the thousands of descendants Jon Bonham has left behind that no one knows about.
Larz captured the spirit that was set free when Cliff Burton was hit by his amp. Bolle seems to be of the same gene pool that Lemmy and Elvis are from and Flo is Jon Lords second incarnation.
So it was only a question of time that theese five met and turned their talents into their own fast and loud Rock n'Roll show.
On stage the guys are not only playin' their own material, of which by now is enough existant to do 3 or 4 records, but they also like to do some classic stuff like Help Me, Rebel Yell, House of the Rising Sun, Rocker, Killed by Death and more....
So if they are comin' to town be sure to check their high energy rock n'roll sensation!!!!
Bolle and the very good lookin' Boys’ sind eine 2003 gegründet Rockband aus Köln, die sich durch eine gelungene musikalische Mischung aus schnellem, souligen Retro-70er/80er-Hard-Rock auszeichnen.
Die Band besteht aus Jan Elson (Gitarre), Lars Kaufmann (Bass), Steffen Berg (Schlagzeug), Flo Bergmann (Keyboard) und Bolle Selke (Gesang).
2006 wurde die erste EP mit dem Titel ‚Bolle and the very good lookin’ Boys’ eigenmächtig von der Band veröffentlicht, zwei Jahre später folgte der Longplayer namens
‚Tono-Bungay’ ; beide Platten wurden dem Publikum durch zahlreiche Auftritte, meist im Raum Köln, vorgestellt und lösten stets anhaltende Begeisterung und Beifall aus.

NITROMINDS - ein Synonym für energiegeladenen und schweißtreibenden Punkrock, und genau das werden die 3 Brasilianer heute auf der PITCHER-Bühne präsentieren. In Ihrer Heimat bespielen sie die großen Bühnen, nicht umsonst wurde Sepultura Frontsau Mr. Green auf den Nitrominds Sänger und Gitarrero André aufmerksam und gründete mit ihm das Projekt Musica Diablo. Supportet werden die 3 von der argentinischen Combo ALL THE HATS und auch die werden die heiligen PITCHER-Hallen zum Beben bringen.
