RKS is a combined effort of hip-hop/downtempo producer and DJ "Pain [Of Thought]", SA productions and featured artists El Guante, Memory and Navdeep Kaur Tucker. Following the tradition of trip-hop/hip-hop production, including haunting melodies, gritty drums and old samples, DJ Pain began to remix bollywood songs as a short side-project in early 2005. The project eventually became the RKS album "Bollywood Ka Bacha", an album sure to please fans of Hindi remix artists such as Bally Sagoo and trip-hop groups such as Massive Attack.

As of February of 2007, the RKS album, "Bollywood Ka Bacha" is out of press. Don't worry-- there is currently a sequel album in the making, including remastered favorites from the first album. Also, DJ Harsh (www.myspace.com/djharsh) has requested that RKS's DJ Pain 1 remix his latest single, "Shanti." You can hear a preview of this song at his myspace site. The single and the various remixes will be available in early Spring of 2007. Check back for more updates.
