Stephen Bolton has a combined management retail experience of 16 years. After serving in the Persian Gulf War and being honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1992, he returned to work full time at Foot Locker® where he worked part time during his high school years. Bolton became a store manager for the organization achieving many awards and recognition for sales accomplishments, including Manager of the Year. During this time, he managed multiple retail outlets where he maximized sales and profits—Bolton’s last location yielding gross sales in access of $3 million in one fiscal year.
In search of new challenges, Bolton came to work for AT&T Wireless as a retail store manager in 1999. As a leader amongst his peers, managing multiple retail outlets to maximum profits, and developing many employees to peek sales potential, he managed the second largest volume retail store in the company located in downtown Chicago on State Street. He possessed a firm understanding and skill set of servicing the customer at the retail point of sale.
Through his many years of managing profit and loss in retail operations, he possessed the necessary skills to effectively protect his company’s profits and assets. Through many years of classroom training followed by hands-on employee development, Bolton possessed the skills to effectively train and manage his staff to achieve his company’s goals. The many years of training and work experience provided by these world class organizations gave Bolton the necessary tools and skill sets to establish Bolt-On Wireless as one of the premier retailers in this market.
