Anne	May 23 2009 6:33 AM Hey guys in case I didn't tell you or you missed my messages, I want to tell you about Club Ross. It's a new club that openned up a couple weeks ago. Tomorrow night, Saturday night, is going to be hot and I mean smokin hot! Doors open at 7pm and the party does not stop until 2am. Not only will there be great drink specials, but the kitchen will be open all night for those that work up an appetite dancing and mingling. There are 2 floors and 2 bars. The DJs will be spinning all the hottest music with a little taste for everyone to enjoy. This is for women over 21 and men over 25. Please let me know if you have any questions! - Anne

Read Romans 8:15, Luke 15:11-32, 2 Corinthians 6:18 When you hold up your arms to your heavenly father, he reaches down to scoop you. These passages remind us that accepting God's gift of salvation is not formal bussiness deal. It's a picture of a father welcoming home his rebellious child, just like the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Just like the ungrateful son, we have run far from God. At some point in our lives, we've tried to live on our own apart from him. We packed a knapsack, bought a bus ticket, and took off for the lights of the city. Somehow, the plan didn't work out as we expected. But God, your Father, was waiting up for you when you came home. With joy in his eyes, God adopted you as soon as you held yourarms to him. He's your Abba Father. It doesn't matter how far you've run or how long you've been gone. His love doesn't change. You are his child. But when the right time came, God sent his son who was born of a woman and lived under the law. God did this so he could buy freedom for those who were under the law and so would become his children (GALATIANS4;4-5) "When we come to Christ, God not only forgives us, he also adopts us...It would be enough if God just cleansed your name, but he does more. They browse the racks of religon, pick an item, and try it on for size. If it doesn't fit, they throw it right back on the rack. If it's comforatble and makes them look good, then they buy it. Besides, it can always be returned. Some people claim that christianity is to narrow. Jesus clearly said that there's only one way to heaven and one narrow path that leads to God-and he is the way. He's not the least bit tolerant or accepting of other methods, sincere as they might be. Why is that so hard to accept? In every other area of life, we accept absolutes. When we bake, we put in the exact ingredients. When we drive somewhere we follow the directions. When we seek God, he requires only one thing-Christ-and that's the only way to God. We're not saved by a system of religon. Salvation is beautifully, incredibly simple. Jesus is the one savior, and he's free for the taking. (John4:25-26) The woman said, "I know that the messiah is coming." When the Messiah comes, he will explain everything to us. " Then Jesus said,"I am he-I, the one talking to you. " "Let us ask our father humbly, yet confidently in the name of Jesus, to remind us of the empty tomb. Let us see the vicorious Jesus, the conqueror of the tomb, the one who defied death.
