   About BOM-Fest

BOMFEST 2008
SATURDAY 19TH JULY

LOCKE PARKE, PARK ROAD, BARNSLEY.
CAPACITY OF 5,000 PEOPLE.

5 STAGES
BEST UNSIGNED TALENT
INTERNATIONAL GUESTS
ESTABLISHED HEADLINERS

BOMfest started in 2004 as an indoor event to promote local talent and in the last 4 years developed into a 5 stage outdoor event. The festival has been administrated by volunteers and supported by the local council and local businesses.

Each year we choose the best unsigned talent that have supported our live nights (BOM nights at the Pulse bar in Barnsley) and also listen to the demos which we receive from our demo call which runs from November to March.

We are always looking for prolific artists, bands and DJs to headline the stages supporting and helping profile the efforts of the some of the best unsigned bands in the U.K.

We are always looking for sponsors and have deals on offer for anyone interested.

Some of the bands which have already played BOMfest are Senser, Tom Hingley and the lovers, Nik Turner, Nick Harper, 4 day Hombre, Gaia, Sukmunki, Outroads, Hotel Brown, Father, Mishkin, Katus, Lyca Sleep, Xi, The Palms, Jon Gomm, Cuba, Theft of a Doll, Idol Minds, The Thin Kings, Del Fuego, X Rippers, Seventh son, Andy Shades, Hooker Bentley, Lost 45s, Skinboat, Raised by Animals, Superfreak, Azura, Nordgarden, The Baddies, My Device, Kanvas, The Headliners, Kid ID, Kava Kava, Lifescreen, The Delicateers, The Murmurs of Tension, Dead Rabbits, Cara Robinson, Meona Void, Mid Air91, Rook and the Ravens, GU Medicine, CF Bundy, Callus, Geekgirl with DJ sets from Nucleus Roots, Waxfactor, Celt Islam.
