Bio
"Is it possible to unite as if melting together? Is it possible for the fusion of two minds? The fusion of two minds to create the ultimate, in virgin infinite music, from keyboards and percussion? Is it possible for two men to discharge with combustible, explosive material, as if set off by a charge? A charge of sound so penetrating, so fanatic, that it reaches your inner most being, leaving you with a feeling of being enthusiastically total? Is it possible? Yes, it is possible. I have experienced this. I have heard Bondar & Wise!" - Kathy Anderson, American Way Music, Inc. In 1971 the fates of the music industry would design a meeting with Al Bondar and Bob Wise. The next eight years would become a special place in time where Al and Bob musically “ran with scissors” and “colored outside the lines”. They became obsessed to create and design a music that might personify their innermost emotions and feelings that were laced with passion, adrenaline, and certainly some testosterone, as well. There was an unbelievable atmosphere in a Bondar & Wise concert when the audience would become a part of the songs and the arrangements. Every show was a new adventure where energies would pass back and forth between Bondar & Wise the audience and the material they were performing. “There has been much treasure in the "Live for Today" theory but I still recall B & W living for the Next Note". Never able to make the transition that the major labels wanted B&W to make they finally realized their strongest music was being left behind in attempts to accommodate the "GODZ OFTHE MUSIC INDUSTRY". It only took thirty years to find a record label that would take on the risk of this eccentric non-conforming, overly innovative musical anomaly called Bondar and Wise. Many thanks to Dharma Records for making this bold release. Far from the digital recording qualities that we know today, this early 70’s recording has been restored to listening quality to preserve the only live, in concert performance of Bondar & Wise performing the music they were meant to play. ........ .. .. .. .. 10 of 41MoreMan I sure miss tha old AuSable Inn, great friends, good food, awesome music and ladies lining up to dance all night long. Even on Ed's crankiest nights bitching about the volume or the a/c freezing up,there wasn't anything that listening to Bondarz Superstars and a couple of super strawberry coladas couldn't make ya forget. Some of my best memories ever!!! Bobby
