Performer of the Year ! !
Presenting a variety show that consists of an exciting mix of instrumental favourites, vocals, pop, country, and old-time rock 'n' roll. A blast of harmonica and a dash of humour - all designed to appeal to a wide age group. Bob pays tribute to the legends; from Beethoven to The Beatles, Buddy Holly to Benny Hill, and current revivals of 'classic' hits!
Bob's long and varied career has made him highly in-demand as a multi-instrumental musician and won him several awards. He has played everywhere from The Sydney Opera House to the Melbourne Myer Music Bowl, from The Palamino Club (Los Angeles) to The Cannery (Nashville), and from Caesar's Palace (U.K.) to the Tanglin Club (Singapore). Bob has also sailed the high seas between them, headlining his own show on International cruise ships! As a musical director he has conducted for international singers such as Frank Ifield, Guy Mitchell, and Judy Stone and has toured as guitarist for Diana Trask and Val Doonican.
As a session musician he has played on Gold Guitar-winning recordings by Johnny Chester and Allan Caswell and blown harp on Don Spencer's platinum-selling childrens' albums. Bob's theatre credits include a critically acclaimed portrayal as Paul McCartney in "Lennon - The Musical of the Legend", and his television appearances include "Reg Lindsay's Country Homestead", "At Home" with John Mangos, and "It's Country Today!"
In 2006 Bob released his long-awaited solo instrumental CD - GO WEST - that takes in the great western movie and TV themes plus a few surprises. This was followed in 2007 by CLASSIC TWANG.
