THE ORIGINAL ELECTRIC STRING QUARTET, BOND, is back again with a first-ever dual disc. Explosive: The Best of bond, is a collection of favorite tracks from Bond's previous hit albums, Born, Shine and Classified, as well as some of their eye-catching videos never before available on DVD. This special package also includes three previously unreleased tracks, including “Caravan,” "Sugar Plum,” and the funky danceable “Carmina.” Seeing is believing with this fabulous foursome.

Together Tania Davis (violin), Eos Chater (violin), Elspeth Hanson (5 string violin/viola) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello) complete the bevy of talented and beautiful women that make up bond. Since Bond's original debut, the girls have sold well over 4 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling string quartet of all time.


Currently working with international superstar violinist, Nigel Kennedy, on a project exploring gypsy music, its roots, importance and influences, the group has built a very active and loyal fan base over the years, including through its associations with many international high profile brands. They have made many international TV appearances in America, Australia, Canada, throughout Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand, South and Central America and South East Asia, including Good Morning America, CNN, FOX News, BBC, ITV, RAI, ZDF, NBC, C4, Sky, Canal Plus, MTV......the list is endless. Bond has also graced the pages of most major newspapers and magazines throughout the world and have travelled the globe several times over in sell-out tours. The girls have performed at BOND film openings and have featured in several movies including Johnny English and XXX: State Of The Union starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube and Willem Dafoe.

Banned at their launch by the classical charts for "not being classical enough", the Bond girls were hailed in the UK press as "THE SPICE GIRLS OF CLASSICAL MUSIC". The Los Angeles Daily News commented: “bond shakes, stirs and sexes up the string quartet” by “putting spice into their classical music” and the Newark Star Ledger noted the band “transcends genres.” One of the highlights of Bond's career was being personally invited by Luciano Pavarotti to perform the hit song, Caruso, alongside him at the famous Pavarotti & Friends annual charity concert in the Maestro's home town of Modena. People Magazine described their sound as “irresistible ear candy” while USA Today called them “glamorous,” and “provocative.” Fans and critics alike are mesmerized by the girl’s contagious energy that leaves everyone wanting more!
