Currently working with international superstar violinist, Nigel Kennedy, on a project exploring gypsy music, its roots, importance and influences, the group has built a very active and loyal fan base over the years, including through its associations with many high profile brands including Raymond Weil, Marshall Fields, Jaguar, Yamaha, Issey Miyake and Clairol’s Herbal Essences. They have made many international TV appearances in America, Australia, Canada, throughout Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand, South and Central America and South East Asia, including Good Morning America, CNN, FOX News, BBC, ITV, RAI, ZDF, NBC, C4, Sky, Canal Plus, MTV......the list is endless. Bond has also graced the pages of most major newspapers and magazines throughout the world and have travelled the globe several times over in sell-out tours. The girls have performed at BOND film openings and have featured in several movies including Johnny English and XXX: State Of The Union starring Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube and Willem Dafoe.
Banned at their launch by the classical charts for "not being classical enough", the Bond girls were hailed in the UK press as "THE SPICE GIRLS OF CLASSICAL MUSIC". HAYLIE ECKER Haylie Ecker (Violin) from Perth, Western Australia, holds a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honors and a diploma in Advanced Solo Studies from London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has played around the world extensively as soloist and continues her classical violin career in addition to playing with Bond
EOS CHATER Eos Chater (Violin) holds an Honors degree from the Royal College of Music. She is from Cardiff, Wales and, before signing to Decca/Universal, Eos performed in chamber groups dedicated to performing music by living composers. A seasoned producer and writer, particularly for music in television and TV advertising, Eos has also written many string arrangements and played with groups including The Divine Comedy, Cocteau Twins, Oi Va Voi, Lamb and Julian Cope, as well as performing in music videos for Gabrielle and Mark Knopfler
TANIA DAVIS Tania Davis (Violin/Viola) is from Sydney, Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honors from the Sydney Conservatorium and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance with Distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Prior to joining Bond, this virtuoso violinist and writer performed with chamber groups and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra
GAY-YEE WESTERHOFF Gay-Yee Westerhoff, from Yorkshire in England, is the quartet’s cellist and holds an Honors degree in Music from Trinity College in London. Before Bond's rise to fame, Gay-Yee worked all over the world with groups including Primal Scream, the Spice Girls, Talvin Singh, Embrace, Sting, Bryan Adams and Barry Manilow. Gay-Yee is a prolific composer, arranger and producer and is currently working on songs with the legendary Don Black
