"There's just 3 words for this album. It Kicks Ass. Keith Karloff's method of trying the songs out live before even working them onto the CD truly makes a record without a sleeper on it. Even the pre mastered discs enjoyed airplay on 91.3 KSVY in Sonoma long before the CD got it's 'official' release. The 'Old School' tone and format of the songs make it familiar the first time you listen to it.
If you don't like 'Live to Ride' then you've never liked straight forward rock. There's no gimmicks on this disc, Just straight forward Blues based rock and roll. Can't wait till they come back to Sonoma to see what Keith and Co. have up their sleeves." - James Marshall Berry Sonoma Valley Music Scene 91.3 KSVY FM www.KSVY.org - Rolling Stone Online

Live review from Red Devil Lounge S.F., supporting The Yardbirds:

"Then came The Bonedrivers, a power trio so electrifying they could light a room of candles. Dripping with self-assurance, they covered all bases, from the blues to funk to standard rock and roll. Try to imagine ZZ Top battling it out with Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and George Thorogood and The Destroyers, and that should clue you in on where The Bonedrivers are at. The band delivered boogie rhythms by the score, the drumming was explosive, the vocals were pleasingly gritty and the guitar and bass work sizzled and slinked with thrilling sensations ... By the time The Yardbirds appeared, the crowd was already dangerously on fire." -Beverly Patterson, Lance Monthly May 2007

   About The Bonedrivers
The Bonedrivers are a San Francisco based powerhouse Rock-N-Blues trio featuring the explosive guitar work and vocalizing of former Gone Jackals frontman Keith Karloff. The rhythm section is comprised of veteran Blues/Rock Specialist Peter O'Malley (Stacy Adams Band) on bass and groovemeister Jim Nelson (Marshall Law) on drums.

Their debut CD "Roadhouse Manifesto" (BlueBlack Records) is receiving worldwide aclaim and is in rotation on regional radio.

CD Reviews:

"The Bonedrivers have been getting big press on their new CD “Roadhouse Manifesto” from the likes of Guitar Player Magazine. The latest press comes from Maverick, a publication in the United Kingdom similar to Spin Magazine here in the states" - The Sonoma Valley Sun

"Keith Karloff's 'Lou Ann' and 'Live to Ride' have the jangly guitars and pop hooks of classic Tom Petty or Marshall Crenshaw singles, married to a beefier rhythm section that makes the record rock fairly assertively even on the ballads." - Stewart Mason - Billboard Magazine/All Music

"One of the most interesting and unique bands out of this genre" - Blooddawn" Magazine, Germany

"Reminiscent of the great Jimi Hendrix and the vocals of great bluesmen such as B.B. King". "Live To Ride" is a true biker hymn" - SLAM MAGAZINE, Italy

"100% proof that you don't have to come from way down south to have that rebel sound." - Metallville Magazine, UK

LIVE REVIEWS:

"like your old Tony Llamas with the worn-down heels" - Kelly Vance, East Bay Express

"their own special brand of blues and boogie - scorching versions of roadhouse classics" - Sonoma Index Tribune

Apr 29 2009 6:55 PM

Guns for San Sebastian has two great shows coming up this month.

May 15 - Blake's on Telegraph (w/ Super Adventure Club and All of a Sudden)

May 29 - The Independent in SF (opening for Langhorne Slim)

About our debut album, now available on iTunes:
"Most simply stated, the vocals and melodies presented in this album are a satisfying fusion of The Black Crowes and The Black Keys."

"Lead singer Charlie Marvin’s solid vocals combined with fluent chord progressions from the strings are obvious elements contributing to the band’s success, but it’s the distinct addition of JJ White’s whaling harmonica that sets the band apart from and possibly above its indie rock counterparts."

Woooo!! The Bone Drivers/ former: The Gone Jackals// 10 years ago is the best Rock Band ever:

Just remind old "Full Throttle" Era:
...
"The "Great Society's"
maligned concrete cage
sits dead and vacant now -
at least it kept out rain. "

With all those corners cut
the cracks grow wide and near.
I heard some cash was saved
but where it's gone ain't clear..

Who goes down next I don't know.
I don't know nothin'
anymore.
Tomorrow's legacy that's
layin' in state
awaits reprieve.

....

Ben says: "I think I fixed your door... it was sticky"
Quohog says :"Grrrr, Look I dont want no trouble, just leave out of this mess"
hahahaha
