Current live performers:
Bonefish Sam - electronics and beat-mangling/rangling experiments.
Dimples Pinochet - low frequency manipulations, via electric bass guitar.
Gilded Tusk - Omnichord (invented by aliens), glockenspiel, electronics, charisma.
Norm D. Plume - fiddle, guitar, mandolin, yodeling
Influences
Luigi Russolo, Edgard Varese, King Tubby, John Cage, Scratch Pet Land, Vlad Ussachevsky, Pierres Schaffer and Henry (before he did that Spooky Tooth album, that was awful), The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Michael Nyman (mostly because of that experimental music book he wrote), Astro Can Caravan, Solex, Matmos, Luciano Berio, Amon Tobin, Captain Beefheart, Negativland, Squarepusher.
Hearing Bonefish Sam is like hearing the colors you see before you fall asleep, after a whole weekend of playing Nintendo (the old one). It sounds like a steady diet of processed cheese. It's like the urge to swallow mouthwash rather than spitting it out, a delicate combo of mint and alcohol. When Bonefish Sam is done playing, you suddenly feel very alone, and nothing will ever really fill that void.

Hi there! We've got a new EP that we're especially proud of called Summer which is the second in our series of seasonal EPs this year. We'd love for you to listen to the EP online, and to do so, just click on the graphic below. If you like what you hear, we'd be very grateful if you'd support our efforts by buying the EP for €2.50 (around $3.20).
Hope all is going great for you. Thanks for being our friend!
Hey, how's it going? I just uploaded a small handful of recordings along with an archive of videos which will be slowly popping up on the site. Check out the new songs and videos & tell your friends to check out Fetus Fly Trap!
Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but if you aren't new to music production, maybe you'll still learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's totally free too; my goal with this is to accumulate as many BFF's as possible.
Hi there! We have a show tomorrow (Saturday, August 30) at the Plank (650 S Vista Ave) in Boise with Bonefish Sam and His Orchestra at 9 pm. Hope you get a chance to make it out!
