Cleveland's BONFIRE leaves the crowd wanting more by playing tunes from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson era's. By playing all of the radio standards peppered with some of the hard core rarities like "Ride on, Down Playment Blues and Can I Sit Next To You Girl", Bonfire satisfies their fans from all walks of life. That ACDC sound is immediately recognizable but the excitement really gets started when our rowdy schoolboy Will (Angus) charges into the room in full costume. There just ain't nothin' better than ladies dancing to The Jack, men pumpin' their fists to Thunderstruck and teenagers rockin' to Dirty Deeds out thier air guitars. If you're interested in having a good time, join us for a Bonfire show!
Bonfire is made up of five rock-and-roll-loving, AC/DC fans. Our bad boy Will Halikis, cannot be restrained as he channels Angus. One fan was quoted as saying "I swear he IS a young Angus". Watch out because Will is in a trance and has been none to have near misses with the audience and might be jumping off the stage in your direction! Tony Tyminski (Malcolm) keeps the guitars on track and steady just like Angus's big brother Malcolm is known to do. While he always keeps that sound sharp, sometimes the energy just overtakes him, Tony is known to go crazy jumping, kicking and head banging the night away. Wes Lauderback is Bonfire's bassist and is an original member, after over ten years in Bonfire, ACDC is in his blood. Though he is prone to hide in the dark (just like Cliff) don't let him fool you, Bonfire's sound just wouldn't be complete without that hard driving beat that he lays down. The constant thump behind the band belongs to Kenny Struhar, get a good look at him, while maintaining a professional sound Kenny is all flash spining his drum sticks and flirting with the ladies. And last but not least, our singer (Bon) Scott Mattocks will amaze you with his ability to go from the nuances of Bon Scott's whiskey drenched vocals to the raw power of Brian Johnson!
Bonfire plays Gibson SG (like Angus), Malcolm signature Gretsch (Malcolm) and Sonar drums (Phil).
