    .... .... .... .... The Bonneville Barons have been called one of the most unique acts in the country. In the last 3 years they've written, recorded and released over 40 original songs, performed live at some of Europe's largest roots music festivals and appeared on ITV, BBC Radio 2 and countless internet broadcasts...not bad for "just" a duo. .... .... The Bonneville Barons are Chris Wilkinson (guitar, vocals) & Yann Mahdjoub (string bass, vocals). In 2007 they released their debut album on Western Star Records "The Guitar & Bullfiddle of The Bonneville Barons" which featured 14 all-original compositions, an approach they continued over all of their releases. The pair rehearsed and performed constantly in support of their debut album, playing at every house party, BBQ and bar that would have them. 2008 saw the release of "Platter Piñata", by which time the duo had begun receiving acclaim from all corners of the roots music scene. .... .... In 2009 they self-released a vinyl E.P. of specially recorded tracks which featured them for the first time with a drummer, good friend and honorary Baron Eric "Hell Rico" Bessenay. The tradition of inviting guests along to their recording sessions stuck, and several of their releases include performances with some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the roots music scene such as Lynette Morgan, Mark Kemlo (The Rimshots) and Dave Priseman (Imelda May). .... .... In 2010 Western Star Records released "Cures What Ails You" which has already been described as "a must-have record" by "one of today's best and most original bands". Recently they've been seen live supporting Imelda May on her UK tour and have appearances at some the of year's biggest rockabilly/roots festivals. .... .... .... .... .... .... .... OUT NOW!!
