    A little bit of most genres. I like hip-hop, reggae, early punk, DC area '80s hardcore, and when I'm feeling mellow- blues, jazz, folk, indie, etc. But, I pretty much hate techno and weird polka sounding music. Some old (pre-pop infusion) country is even alright with me.

    Currently reading Shock Doctrine, and uber relevant read for, well, EVERYONE. Some favorites include: Unbowed, Broke Diaries, 1984, Richard Wright's "The Outsiders", Mixed, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol, Timequake, West of Jesus, Before the Mayflower, Black, White, And Jewish, The Bluest Eye, And pretty much all things J. California Cooper, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, bell hooks, etc. The autobiographies of Malcolm X, Assata Shakur, and Gordon Parks. And soooo many more.

    I really want to. Its difficult to train though because there isn't a pool near my house and it creeps me out swimming in the bay by myself...... I just need to suck it up and do it. I just ate way too much burrito...why did I do it? I think I need to hibernate now cuz I am stocked up.
