On Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10 a.m., the Los Angeles Anarchist Black Cross will host a 5k run/walk/bike through the trails of the Whittier Narrows Regional Park in El Monte. This run/walk/bike is designed to raise much-needed funds for the ABCF's Warchest program, El Centro Cultural de Mexico and the Committee to Free Chip Fitzgerald.
Solidarity Runs Every year, prisoners and supporters of political prisoners organize solidarity runs with Running Down the Walls (Los Angeles). We currently have runs slated for Sandstone (MN), Tucson (AZ), Inez (KY) and Walpole (MA). We hope this list of cities and prisons will expand. Please contact LA ABCF if you are interested in organizing a run in your location.
