Now 33 years in the making, a dance show inspired by the unsettling creative spirit in us all! Boogiezone presents "EVE" - Dawn of A New Horizon. The first ever full feature dance show conceived and produced by Boogiezone promises to offer nothing less than you might already expect. Unique, "eve" is the only show that as a community we will evolve together already known as the largest collaborative dance project EVER organized finally has a date and a venue! EVE will be coming to UCLA's Royce Hall this August 3,4,and 5 of 2007!!
THE STORY:
The show will tell the story of an impressionable young girl named Eve who struggles to be unique, lost in a search for an identity she can call her own. Throughout the show, Eve embarks on a journey of personal transformation and learns to believe in her new self image, a re-invented, re-born idea of a person that can exist in any world – real or imagined. Ultimately, “Eve” will offer its universal audience the opportunity to tap into unbridled emotions that evoke resonance at levels unimaginable.
The story will cater to both dance enthusiasts and the interests that reside in the casual observer. “Eve” will demonstrate with movement, with music, and with imagery that boundaries and taboos need not confine but should free us from the constraints that seek our capture.

The main character of “Eve” will be played by Mayvn Entertainment Company’s, Anjolie Marfori, an up and coming industry dancer who has just recently began doing professional work. Under agency representation with Los Angeles’ Bloc Talent Agency – Anjolies credits now include Shakira and the Hillary Duff Promotional Tour. At age 18, she has trained and now teaches all styles from Ballet to Hip-Hop. Anjolie is excited to broaden her performing experience by contributing her amazing technical ability and dance style to the cast of “Eve.”

TEAM Boogiezone – “Breed” the Community Dance Group is the physical extension of the virtual online dance community www.boogiezone.com. Established in 2001, there are currently two “Breed” dance companies in operation; one based in Seattle, WA and the other in Los Angeles, CA. Breed has built quite a reputation for treading the unknown and continually blurring the lines that separate conventional and innovative dance themes.
