Once upon a time, there was a progressive-funk/folk/rock band of young college students that had a very brief but prolific life through two summers in Winnipeg's mid-90's.
They played some shows but never hit a real studio or released any albums. The only evidence of their existence is a basement rehearsal that was taped in 1996, a live TV appearance in 1997, and a few photos along the way.
A very good time was had by all... and they plan to share it here soon... like... real soon...
Where are they now?
Paul B. and Tyler have both ventured into the world of engineering - working on cool shit ranging from big, badass bridges to teeny-tiny microchips. Both still grow their own music for medicinal purposes.
Ben is a viking in the world of orchestral percussion and has been spotted putting time in with bands like Moses Mayes (www.myspace.com/mosesmayes) and JFK & the Conspirators (www.myspace.com/jfkandtheconspirators).
Among the bassists, Paul W. is making similar conquests in the world of film while Brian continues to hold down the bottom-end for Pushing Daisies (www.myspace.com/pushingdaisies) - whose music may soon appear in a film showing near you...
...and since the spring of 1998, Neal has done nothing but sit by the phone waiting for a call saying "Hey man... Ben's back from Montreal. When can we all start jamming again?".
We think it's time somebody told him.
