Boojitsu lives south of San Francisco, California. His nickname is Boo, and when he started writing and recording music in high school, he created the name ?Boojitsu21? to use for his music. His first CD in 2005 was called ?Finding the Lights,? which debuted nine original compositions. In 2006, he recorded ?Progress? introducing an additional seven new, original compositions. Although his two projects were a solo recording, where he wrote, recorded, and arranged all instruments and vocals, he has also played at local venues as part of a live band as lead vocal and lead guitar. His live and recorded performances have all been well received. After submitting one of his songs to the LA Music Awards of 2006, he was one of three people nominated for an award this year for the Male Singer/Songwriter of the year for one of the genres. His small but enthusiastic fan base includes two international fans in Finland, and his online music profiles have drawn thousands of hits over the past two years.
