About me:
I was a puppy born to a Stray Rescue rescued feral momma about one year and a half ago. I am a mix of boxer and Rhodesian ridgeback (I think). I was returned back to Stray Rescue by my first guardian because of some life changes. I am back with the fosters I had when I was a little puppy, and I'm doing fine. Still, I'd like to find a forever family.
I have really grown, now I weigh 70 lbs! I am microchipped, neutered, crate trained, and house broken. I know some basic commands, but need work walking on a leash. I like to learn new things, and learn best when I'm praised. I need a patient guide, teacher, and companion (even though I'm tough, I still get my feelings hurt sometimes). I have a lot of loving qualities, but I'm not good around cats...(you know how cats can be).
I have found a great family!
Who I'd like to meet: I have found a family to love me always and forever. I still HAve other friends who need a home, you can find them at www.strayrescue.org.
You want a really good treat? Wait until the humans leave a jar of peanut butter where you can reach it.
My foster sister Edwina can take the lid off of these jars, and peanut butter tastes even better than dog treats, and it is fun licking it off of your foster siblings noses.
I liked your video Booker! But every time you barked, I ran to the front door and barked. I thought you were outside! Crazy huh? Good luck finding your forever home, maybe I'll see you at an adoption event sometime.
I have pet sat for his foster parents a few times the the past months, and I want you to know that Booker is a WONDERFUL boy. He is has lots of energy and loves to play, is extremely smart (and curious!), and is very sweet and loves to cuddle when it is time to settle down. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment that doesnt allow dogs, or I would consider adopting him myself.
Good Luck Booker! You deserve a fun and, more importantly, a very loving family!
