About me:

About me....I'm a happily married momma now, just living the simple life! I take care of my awesome hubby, Terry, who is a hard worker and great husband. Our daughter was born in January, and of course, I think she's the cutest thing ever! I'm into hunting and fishing, along with gardening and cooking. I love cooking. I've been doing a lot of canning this year, and started making my own fresh bread - from scratch - hand kneading and everything. No bread machine here! All in all, I love my life, my family, and my friends, and am very content with what I have and where I'm at. :)

Interests

  • General

    I grew up on a horse farm in a podunk town (it was actually named Podunk at one time), and briefly lived in the city. It wasn't for me, and now I'm back in the middle of nowhere, about 20 miles from where I grew up. It's one of those places you don't lock you doors - and no one bothers you because there's enough ammo and guns in here to start a war - or just be set for hunting season for the next few years!

  • Music

    I listen to most everything from top 40 R&B to the oldies - the "Timeless Classics". I can sing along with Kanye or Sinatra. You just don't want to hear me.

  • Movies

    I get out to the movies about once every two years.... and I don't really watch TV.

  • Television

    I don't watch it - got enough I can find to do!

  • Books

    I love reading. Everything. I'll read the shampoo bottle ingredients if there's nothing else. I have over 1000 books, and I'd read most of them - some many, many times. My favorite authors are Ayn Rand, Victor Hugo and Dick Francis.

  • Heroes

    Mahatma Gandhi and the Dalai Lama. Weird, I know for a hunter, but hey, I can be who I want to be!
