Within The Eddy’s sound bridges the divide between the worlds of Ozzfest and the WARPED Tour. Picture the infrared precision of Iron Maiden colliding with the spidery melodicism of Evanescence. Led by the brother / sister team of Michael and Christina Salerno, their sonic tapestry weaves an articulate melancholy that reaches, confirms, and stirs a listener’s innermost senses. It seems the best of songwriting teams share a telepathy. In the case of Within The Eddy, it’s not by accident, but from that of bloodline. The centrifugal force from which their craft derives, is a dedication that is not a choice but a calling captured on their debut release, “Breaking Axioms.” Originally from Chattanooga, TN but now calling Los Angeles home, this band distills the common threads of our human condition into the thirteen compositions that make up their debut.
