About me:
Aesthete, Flâneur, the usual.

Really important! We have a month to program a literary festival for London! Check it out at http://londonlitplus.com and join us at http://www.myspace.com/londonlitplus - We need your help!

The once-famous STML Litblog is now closed, but the archives are still open.

I write a busy website concerned with literature + technology: booktwo.org. The book is dead. Long live the book.

You can find our more about me at shorttermmemoryloss.com, if you'd like, including lots more links.

I'm an editor over at the thrice-blessed 3:AM, where all the cool kids hang out [MySpace Profile here], and can be found sharing a pint of warm bitter with the shadowy folks at Through A Glass Darkly.

My day job is in publishing. I publish contemporary fiction and non-fiction, mostly of the more interesting kind.

I am also the Moriarty behind Bookkake. Make of that what you will.

Who I'd like to meet:
As a bonus, a movie made by me and some friends:

LINT is a finalist in World Book Day's "Spread the Word" book competition. Thanks to those who voted in the first round!
The final WINNER is also to be decided by online vote, which has now started. People who voted in the first bout can vote AGAIN in this bit - so vote for LINT to WIN at this new link (if you want) -

LINT is in the running for a prize ("Spread the Word" prize for obscure books that should be better known, or something). The short-short-list is by vote.
Vote for it here! (if you want) -

Ta for the add. I like your "Death Artist" cover. I might pretend to be a pavement artist. My plan is to have pre-prepared horrible pictures of people - with their eyes all wonky and covered in spots, then have someone sit opposite me for 15 minutes while I pretend to draw them.

Hi there. Hope you had a great New Year celebration. Thought I'd pop by to remind you that there is still some fun to be had on Tuesday 9th of Jan at "Tired And Lonesome", at The Social (5 Little Portland Street W1) - Just off Oxford Street. I will be playing my tunes acoustically and there will be other great acts and DJs that will make for a great night. Hope you can make it,
Love Jim'll. xx
