Welcome to Latonsville, a small town with big secrets. Strange tales hide in every corner and some just might be true.
Twenty years ago a notorious killer known as the Devil’s Left Hand kidnapped eleven babies and left local police stumped. They never found the killer or the babies.
When Rick discovers his girlfriend has been murdered in the same grotesque fashion as the Devil’s Left Hand crimes, he begins a quest to unravel his town’s unspeakable past.
Using a cryptic encyclopedia of local murders called the "Book of Lore", Rick and his friends attempt to uncover the horrific events of the last twenty years.
As the bodies pile, Rick realizes the answer to his town’s past just may lie within the pages of the "Book of Lore".

"Deserves to be a classic."

"Highly original. A lot of unique ideas that will be quite refreshing to fans of the genre who want something new."

"Consistently entertaining and engrossing. Chris LaMartina’s latest offering should really solidify his reputation as one of the best indie horror filmmakers out there."
- David Greenberg, Indietalk.com
"Everything I want in a horror is right in LaMartina's worn and mangled composition book: tension, scares, chills, and a well told story that's full of deliriously creepy twists and turns."
- Allen Richards, B-independent.com
Beginning its life as an undergraduate senior film thesis, “Book of Lore” is a cinematic love letter to 1980s horror flicks like “Fright Night” and “Monster Squad”. It also features the voice of the Godfather of Gore, Herschell Gordon Lewis.
