About me:

Located on the Llano Estacado in southeastern New Mexico, Hobbs is deemed the "oil capital" of New Mexico. Hobbs Public Library was founded in 1939 with donations from community members. It is located in the middle of Clinton Park and has grown to over 100,000 items including books, DVDs, CDs, and audio books. HPL is one of eight libraries in the Estacado Library Information Network.
New Hours Effective Nov. 29, 2009:
Sundays: CLOSED
Mondays-Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursdays-Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Story Hours:
Wednesdays: 10-11 a.m.for 3, 4, 5 year-olds
Fridays: 10-11 for 3-year-olds
Tuesday Twos: six-week program for 2-year-olds (call the library to pre-register)

    Actually, the mood always relates to my status. But for some reason, on the profile page YOU see, you have to move the bar way over to the right to be able to read the status. There's lots of blank space. Don't know why, because my view of that page is more compressed. Would be happy to accept pointers from the Library Specialist at HPL! :o)
