What Happen To BooterWorld.Com

I reopened it for a couple months in late 2006 when I merged with Booters.Org (many shouts to my good friend Donny) but unfortunately Donny had to leave the internet for a while and I was unable to afford the hosting bills at the time and had to let the sites close. I really regret doing that and I wish I had more options at the time but I was tied up with moving to a new home and several other "real-world" issues. :P But things are looking better now and I promise to reopen it to some extent as soon as I have a little extra free time on my hands.

Introduction:

In late 1999 Matthew was introduced to the world of Yahoo Messenger and began to slowly learn about all that it had to offer. Over time he discovered the ability to boot people offline by typing special commands into the chat window which interested him very much and he set out to learn more about it and began to develop his own boot commands to share with his friends and have fun with. This was the early years of Yahoo Messenger and boot programs nor booter websites really existed yet. After a while Matthew and others began to learn more and more and was able to create even better boot codes as Yahoo constantly changed around them. Before long people started making actual program (usually scripted in VB) to run the boot codes for people. From this was born the need for websites to host the booter programs. At first Matthew concentrated all his time on find new ways to protect yourself from boots and developed defense programs that he wanted to share with his friends online. From this was born the idea to start his very first website. He setup a free hosting account at a popular free hosting site and started what would soon be called BooterLand. In the beginning BooterLand only provided it's users with programs to prevent the user from being a victim of the widely popular booter programs being developed at a very fast rate! During this time he started two other small sites called BooterUniverse and BooterWorld. He ran these 3 websites for several months before finally deciding to focus on just one of them which he decided would be BooterWorld. (He thought it sounded the coolest) A short time after that he started focusing on all the different types of programs and script made for Yahoo Messenger and over time really focused his interest on the booter programs alone. Which he spent endless hours every day searching for and testing to add to his newly created website. After a while his site started to get very popular in the Yahoo community and he decided it was time to step it up to a more complex website with a domain name. On October 12, 2001 Matthew registered BooterWorld.com and so began the events that would forever change his life.

A Little History:

As stated above BooterWorld.com was born from Matthew's love and interest of booters and other programs related to Yahoo and several other types of messenger programs. For about a year Matthew ran BooterWorld.com all by himself and never even considered the idea of having help until one day he realized his lifestyle left him too little time to work on it all alone. So he posted on the site a message announcing that he would be interviewing people for the opportunity to be BooterWorld Booter Testers (later to become actual site Admins) Literally hundreds of emails poured into his mail box from people begging for the opportunity to work on the site. That was the first time he realized just how popular his site must be. Flattered and overwhelmed by all the emails he started to slowly and carefully review each one and contact the people he was interested in. Before long he had put together about a 5 man group of people that would soon become some of the best friends he would ever have online. With their help and dedication to his work the site grew at an amazingly fast rate and soon became the biggest and most viewed booter site on the entire Internet! *Based on statistics gathered from several different search engines and web analysis services.
