The few things I need to be happy: The love of my family, my friends, my pets & of course music, without which I'd have been long gone from this world by now.
Music
...amongst many others!
Too many too much too varied to list all, but here's a few off the top of my head: FAITH NO MORE, first and foremost, closely followed by FEAR FACTORY & HIM. Mike Patton & Burt Bell are 2 of the best, most talented & charismatic frontmen & songwriters out there and I am proud and honoured to have spent some time around both of them and many others in the genre in my line of work. Haven't met Ville & HIM yet but they're certainly on my list. Danzig, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Rammstein, Megadeth, Marilyn Manson, Joe Satriani, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Depeche Mode, Moonspell, David Bowie, NIN, Prodigy, Filter, RATM, Queen, Linkin Park, New Order, Lacuna Coil, Korn, Angtoria, Killswitch Engage, Our Lady Peace, REM, Coldplay, POD, Rush, Static-X; My musical tastes include orchestral metal/rock, a little funk, some classical & operatic, a little bluegrass at times and a whole SHITload of 80's rock, metal, goth & techno.

Michael Gear & Kathleen O'Neal Gear, James Herriot, Dan Brown (although his books are becoming repetative and more & more predictable) loads more but can't remember offhand...
Heroes
My Uncle Andy, Queen Elizabeth II, Steve Irwin, Carroll Shelby, ex British PM Tony Blair, Sharon Osbourne, Sinead O'Connor, George Carlin, James Herriot, my friend & mentor Mr. Dean Davis, my best friend Bobby for being so open & comfy with himself finally, and my dearest Mags for living through what she has and being the incredible person she is today. And lastly but not leastly my husband & kids for dealing with all my crazy bullshit on a daily basis...
LOL this is GREAT and so true; and I'm MARRIED to a guitarist...and a damn good one too! lol!
You're perfect for dating the musical genius of the band – or at least, the person who thinks he/she is the creative superstar holding it all together. Guitarists can be kind of tortured and high strung, but they're also talented, and they know it. You seem like you'd be good at lowering a guitarist's stress level and keeping his/her ego in check. The stereotypical guitarist wants his/her band to sound as close to perfect as possible, but guitarists are also willing to take chances on stage, and they'll put tons of energy into creating an impressive live show. Guitarists are happiest when they're solo-ing, because those are the moments when they feel like they're in complete control. The one thing a hardworking guitarist really wants from you? Admiration. As long as you give your guitarist the same level of respect that he/she gives music (and that precious guitar), you two will live in harmony.
Which Guitar Player Are You?
You are Joe Satriani!
You're an outstanding guitarist, definitely one of the best on the planet, and one of the most well known. When people think of soloist guitar players, you come to mind. Not only that, but you're a great teacher and a great person. You have a style that makes those that listen to you groove in awe. Rock On!
WHAT ROCK BAND ARE YOU??
H.I.M.
UR AN EMO ROCKER!! EMO ALL THE WAY! U LIKE SAD QUIET SONGS THAT REALLY ROCK OUT WHEN THEY FEEL THE NEED TO VENT! BUT THEY SEEM TO CHEER U UP!! HIM KICKS ASS!!
What Mystical Creature Are You?
You scored as Faerie
Faerie: Aren't you a cute little flying person? Faeries are earth spirits. They live among each element completely hidden. They have cousins called Pixies. Pixies however, are very mischievious. They enjoy tormenting other creatures for fun. Little pranksters...I hope you never meet one. Pixies have a bad reputation for finding a creature and clinging to them until death. Faeries can be somewhat close to a Pixie, but mostly they are loving, playful, and carry with them a child-like enthusiasm for life. Hide among the petals of a Daisy, you are a Faerie.
36 wisdom 27 bravery 26 emotional and 22 martyrdom!
A willow wand signifies that you care deeply about emotions, art, and intuition, and that you have a particular knack for charms. The veela hair as a wand core means that you are slightly unpredictable but very powerful.
You can be warm and sexy. Or cold and unwelcoming.
Either way, you slowly bring out the beauty around you.
You are best known for: Your touch
Your dominant state: Everchanging
What Type of Weather Are You Quiz at www.blogthings.com
Your Psyche is Blue
You are deeply emotional and very connected to everything (and everyone) around you.
By simply understanding other people, you are able to help them heal and let go.
While you are a very deep and thoughtful person, you do have a very silly, superficial side.
When you are too blue: the weight of the world's problems hangs over you
When you don't have enough blue: you lack perspective and understanding.
Not much to say about me really, I love my kids, love my husband, love my animals and my music. I'm currently a stay at home mum, but have had (and would do again in a second!) such jobs as roadie/sound tech for many different bands/artists, pro. bodypiercer, and exotic pet rescuer/breeder. Other than that there's not much to me; I don't consider myself a 'normal' person by any means, but I lead a very simple, boring, yet always hectic life these days and it's just about killing me. I'm a sleep deprived, lonely, miserable old bitch half the time but hopefully that will change as our situation improves. For those who know what it is I play the online game Lineage when I have the chance. My main character is the level 51 dex/wind elf Visionaire on Depardieu server:

When I'm not cleaning up some kind of horrible mess, cooking, doing laundry, hoovering, washing dishes or chasing the kids & cats around the house I'm usually reading, doing crosswords, watching tv/movies, playing Lineage or nosing about on the internet and listening to music...ALWAYS with the music! But it's not often I have time for such recreational activities anymore as my 4 little boys...7 if you consider my two feline sons & husband as well, somehow manage to fill up damn nigh every second of my life...even when I'm sleeping!! Arrrrgh!!!! =^.^=
