 Hi, I'm Jennifer Hansen and some of you
may remember that I used to be a newsreader.
After twenty years in the TV
business, it's great to be branching out and trying an incredible
range of new experiences, including radio presenting, acting
and starting up my own business. I've had many more opportunities
to travel and now have the freedom to go away whenever I like!
I also have a lot more time to spend with my two beautiful children,
Veronica and Tom, which is great. It's fantastic being your own
'boss' - no office politics and I can wear my hair however I
like!
I started up the "Booty-Up"
business because I have a bit of a boot fetish and was frustrated
that there was nothing on the market (ie. boot trees) to make
my boots stand 'upright' in the cupboard. So I invented a product
called "Booty-Up" and you can learn more about it at
that specific website, which is www.ubersavvy.com.au.
Thankfully I still have the
time to pursue the more creatively rewarding projects I set for
myself.
I have always played piano and last year took up specialized
jazz lessons to further my ability which was brilliant. As "Booty-Up"
became busy this year, I dropped my lessons but hope to resume
them in the near future.
I'm also writing a book (I'll keep you
posted!) and am trying to find the time to take up oil painting
again. And we have a pretty busy social life - I adore catching
up with my wonderful friends who are such a big part of my life.
So life is never boring and there are never enough hours in the
day to get everything done!
