I was a late bloomer in the drinking department. I didn't have my first drink until the age of 22. I was one of those silly sober people until some cold tramp decided to rip my heart out, swallow it down, and chase it with chocolate bon-bons. I'm glad she left though because it introduced me to the sweet nectar that has been my social lubricant for years.
I came up with the idea of BoozeBasher.com while daydreaming at work one day. I was a little hungover and lamenting the fact that I will most likely be destined to spend the rest of my useful years wasting away in a stuffy cubicle. I have very few talents in life, but recognizing and drinking good liquor is one of them. I thought it would be noble and perhaps even profitable (not yet) to share my opinions in a down-to-earth way. I enlisted a few friends with good tastes, and BoozeBasher was born.
I used to go out every damn night of the week and drink myself into oblivion to hide from my many assorted life pains, but I have since cut back a bit and slowed down. That has really opened the door to actually enjoying all the liquor I consume, and working on BoozeBasher has really taught me a great deal. There is a wealth of knowledge out there on alcohol. When I'm sober enough to read and write, I enjoy sharing my findings with our readers.
I don't have too many hobbies outside of BoozeBasher these days. I still enjoy drinking and going out occassionally. It's fun to go out, get drunk, and imagine what it would be like to talk to women. I started playing guitar a little while back, and even though I suck at playing it, I get a kick out of trying. Liquor makes me sound better. Liquor makes everything better. I have started playing golf again after many years away from it. I have a newfound enjoyment of it when I bring along a flask full of bourbon. That seems to wipe away all of the frustration that the game brings my way. I really don't have any other hobbies. I don't think I could afford any more of them.
Music
Drinking, drinking, DRUNK! I know the value of a few shots in the morning and a few before going to bed at night. I'm good at two things, neither having anything to with writing or drinking. Oh wait, there is one.
I like to think of myself as a bottle of liquor. On the front, there's my name, age, where I'm from, and a fancy picture for the the background. On the back, it would just be all warnings saying, "don't consume this," "keep away from small children," or."don't place near open flame." And most importantly, "pregnant women should never touch."
All the time people tell me I have a great job. I just want to put this out there...drinking and making a website is tons of work. It's 10% drinking (the fun part) and 90% work (the part that sucks). But you do what you know so I guess I'm stuck doing this until my liver and fingers fail me. Good thing I get to drink.
When I’m not drinking, I try to read. I’m not saying I don’t know how to read. It’s just that books are hard to handle with my blurry drunken vision.
Movies
Started drinking at the age of 18, but not seriously until about 23.
Been drinking with Hunter and Wade for several years and when some of the original BoozeBasher crew members started slacking they asked me to fill in. I gladly accepted.
So far I’ve really enjoyed the liquor review process. Never been much of a writer but this has actually been fun.
I met the other BoozeBasher crew members at work several years ago. We passed the boredom of working by talking about going out and drinking. We’ve been hanging out ever since.
My general interests are: staying in shape, running, outdoors, pretty women, and more pretty women.
Television
I have been drinking for over 10 years now, and at 26 I feel like I have quite a bit of experience with liquor. I have known the boozebasher boys now for...uh...almost 5 years I think. I am not sure, most of that time was spent killing brain cells with booze.
I started by being a guest reviewer when I was visiting last spring and have continued by submitting boozenews articles, two so far with more to come.
I am a full time student, worker, drinker, and jerk. If you ever see me at the bar, feel free to buy me a shot, but don't @%&$ with me I will ruin your night. Otherwise I am a blast to hang out with and an all around good time.

Reason: The Godfather never does you wrong! When he says Menudo is a great remedy for hangovers, he means it! And folks......it does work. It sounds strange, I know. But it was good, and the hangover was gone! He was right on the fact that you can't eat the canned stuff (seriously, that stuff is gross). Homemade is the way to go.
