We are Borderline Eleven, a pop punk Christian band from Hooksett, New Hampshire.
.....Music is our lives. We started this band as something to do in our spare time and just to do whatever. We knew how to play about two or three songs, covers of course. Then, one day, we started writing a few of our own songs. They didn't come out the greatest at first, but as time went on, we got comfortable enough to write more of our own music. We started to become a little more serious about it as time went on, and now we play anywhere we can. Now, without losing the love of music, and the original idea we had when we started this band, we're hoping to possibly turn this into a career of our own.
.....Luke, our amazing guitarist, has written most of our catchy and awesome riffs. Sometimes, Dan will bring a great idea to practice for a sweet riff, and Luke just morphs it into something mind-blowing. (haha, like 'Save Me'). He came into the picture a little later than the rest of us, but has been an answer to our prayers.
.....Andy, our crazy drummer, is always laying down some amazing beats to keep us all together. Sometimes he says some things that don't make sense, but that's ok 'cause he's the drummer, and it's ALWAYS the drummer's fault. I guess we can give him a break every once in a while. Luke and Andy are actually brothers. Both are huge parts in our band both lyrically and musically.
.....Joe, well, let's just say he is the man when it comes to playing bass. He always thinks up awesome bass lines like in 'Last Goodbye', and 'On Top Of Everything.' He is really into Jazz and some other musical genres, which really helps to give our stuff a sweet vibe sometimes. Also plays saxophone. I mean, how sweet is that? Really gives us the low end we need to give us a crazy sound.
.....Dan, the frontman, is always coming up with catchy lyrics, oftentimes in the middle of practice, making lyrics up off the top of his head. I don't think he ever thinks a song is quite finished, but somehow, he lets it go for the good of the band, 'cause if he doesn't, he tends to make it worse. He kind of had the original idea of the band and everything kind of fell together quickly.
.....So.... here we are today as Borderline Eleven. So far we have a six-song EP disc titled "Pacific Wasteland", which is available at our gigs. But if anyone wants to buy one, we sell them for $8. If you can reach us, whether it's myspace, or school, or anything, we'll get you a CD. But if we need to mail it to you, it's an extra $2 for shipping. In the meantime, we have our songs in our ReverbNation widget all the time, and every once in a while, "The Revolution Show" on 90.7 FM will play our music on the radio. They're on Fri. nights from 7-10pm and Sat. nights from 8-10pm on 91.1 FM. Some Internet stations around the country are also starting to play some of our songs.
......We are a Christian punk/rock/alternative band. Now wait one second... before you press the "X" button on your browser and completely disown this MySpace page and totally regret and deny ever hearing of us, just wait one second. We know some of you may be thinking "Christian rock?!" Well, don't worry, it's still punk rock. If you don't believe us, then you need to come to one of our shows, or look at our list of covers in our blog, or listen to our music.
.......Our goal is to prove that Christians can have fun and do crazy stuff while spreading the word of Jesus Christ. We want to prove that the popular view of Christianity being boring is false and that a relationship with Jesus Christ is one of the craziest and best things that can happen in life, and we want people to see that through this band. Christianity is punk rock!

Hey you guys did really well at Open Mic Night @ Oasis. I like the new songs... but I didn't get to hear them all cause I had to leave... but the guy that I was with liked them too. He said they were good. But back to studying for finals. Peace out!
