WE WANT YOU TO PLAY!!!!! Borders Books & Music in Meriden, Connecticut opened in October 2006. Early on, we implemented a Friday night cafe music series which has since seen great success! Our store is an active supporter of local music. Our primary focus is on Connecticut bands and solo artists. We can't pay you to play our store, but we will happily allow you to sell your CDs, t-shirts, and other band-related merchandise. It really is GREAT EXPOSURE for your band or solo act!!! We will also provide free publicity for your performances. Please read our blog for complete information on performing at our store.
All performances begin promptly at 7:30 every Friday night, and there is no cost for customers to hear some great live LOCAL music.
