PHEW! I've got a lot. I'm a lot more than just an evil doctor bent on world destruction, you know! Basically I'm really into being evil, trying to take over the world, inventing weapons of mass destruction, bowling, knitting, defeating my arch rival Captain Book, reading comic books, watching PBS (Maya and Miguel IN DA HOUSE!!!), reading poetry (Captain Book's weakness, lol), watching and studying Ed Wood movies, intenting evil things in my evil lair and in general just a whole sense of overall evilness.
And ramen noodles. They're hecka yummy!
Here's some video of my first face-to-face battle against Captain Book in February in front of an audience of well over 70 kids and parents ...
I almost defeated him. DRAT! I was so close! Dont worry. One day I will be victorious. One day ...
Music
Us evil super villains don't really have time for music. We're too busy being evil and pimping out our evil lair. But occasionally I'll listen to Primus and Jim's Big Ego and GNR and The Format. Lots of Sinatra. And Perez Prado, the latin king of mambo. And for some reason I really like dancing to mariachi music. Don't ask me why. I've heard that Dr. Doom like to dance to bagpipe music, so my mariachi love isn't TOO strange.
Sometimes I'll go to the super villain nightclub and sing karaoke. Supervillains are all about karaoke. Sometimes ill sing Beatles and sometimes ill do Chili Peppers. I usually stick with Neil Diamond. "Love on the rocks ... ain't no big surprise ..."
Movies
World War II documentaries and Spiceworld. And Waterworld. And Manos, the Hands of Fate, the MST3K version. And all Ed Wood's movies. Ed Wood was a misunderstood genius and I love all his films. I'm currently working on a way to create a zombie army just like in "Plan 9 From Outer Space." Oh, and I also like "The Beast Of Yucca Flats." I'm a big Tor Johnson fan. TIME FOR GO TO BED!
Television
Strictly PBS, baby. That's how evil villains roll. A lot of Nova and Word Girl for me ...
I'd totally watch the History channel if I wasn't so broke :( No cable for me. It's pretty rough times for us super villains.
Books
The last book I read was "Soon I Will Be Invincible" by newcommer Autsin Grossman.
It was an amazing book that does an incredible job of peering into the mids of superheroes AND super villains. It was an amazing book and if you like comic books or super heroes or just plain villainy. It was great and I couldn't recommend it enough.
Seriously. It rocks. Everybody should read it!
Im also all about Terry Pratchett and Bradley Denton.
Heroes
(see "Who I'd Like to Meet")
I have no heroes - only villains.
That's how we villains roll.
Here's a video from Mr. Steve, the storyteller from the Barnes and Noble where I fight Captain Book. It's a video called "WHERE'S Mr. STEVE?" See if you can find Mr. Steve ...
Seriously, though, my heroes include Ed Wood, the Green Goblin, Jose Galindo Jr, Voldemort, Wesley Willis and that Jared guy from the Subway commercials. And the ska band Flip The Switch. What, evil supervillains cant enjoy ska, you say? Well shame on you, my friend! Shame.
About me: I am the evil and sinister Dr. Borderz. That's Borderz with a Z and in no way related to the bookstore of similar name. I spend most of my time trying to find a way to defeat my arch rival, the super hero known as Captain Book. He protects the Barnes and Noble bookstore by Arden Mall in Sacramento, California which has the funniest storytimes for free every tuesday at 11:00 am and every saturday at 2:00 pm. The last saturday of every month is CAPTAIN BOOK superhero storytime. I frequent this storytime and try to take over. One day I will defeat Captain Book and take over storytime. Then it will be storytime with Dr. Borderz and not that silly, crazy, ruggedly handsome Mr. Steve fellow who does storytime. (I mean, sure I want to take over storytime for my own evil reasons but I have to admit it - that Steve Galindo fellow sure is an attractive man) And NO I'm not Mr. Steve, so just drop it.
When I'm not trying to take over storytime I like to invent evil things and watch The Simpsons and play wrestling video games.
Here's a picture of my first face to face battle against Captain Book at the beginning of the year. There were over seventy people packed into the children's section cheering us on ...
This is me in March getting booed by the kids after discovering that Captain Book's weakness is poetry ...
Here's me in May teaming up with fellow villain (and my next door neighbor) Ms. Know-It-All. We almost defeated Captain Book but we had a falling out shortly afterwards ...
Here's me back in June. I kidnapped the fabulous fairy princess Bubbles McSparkles and dressed as her in order to sneak into storytime. I almost got away with it, too. I also look pretty good in drag. Ed Wood would have been proud ...
I also tried to take over the store's Midnight Magic Party for the release of the last Harry Potter book. I snuck in and tried to steal all the Harry Potter books but Captain Book outsmarted me by replacing the books with (yuck) Charlie Bone books. Then we fought and, as always, he beat me up ...
A new villain named Miss Lulu took over storytime in July and started making fun of me. What she didn't know is that I was checking out books in the indian cooking section. It may have gone against all the super villain rules but I helped Captain Book defeat Miss Lulu and we even hugged afterwards. But I put a "KICK ME" sign on his back afterwards, so I'm totally still evil.
IN SEPTEMBER I learned that Captain Book, my long time arch-enemy, is actually my LONG LOST TWIN BROTHER! After that, I went in exile, hanging out in my evil lair watching tv and doing sudoku. Then, on December 29th, 2007 I hatched my most evil scheme ever ... I came to storytime with EVERY BAD GUY CAPTAIN BOOK EVER FOUGHT! Miss Lulu, Mrs. Know-It-All, Dr. Dark and Bomit, and the Chores Fairy ...
But it was all just a TRICK! We were actually there to throw him a surprise birthday party. There was cake and ice cream and a whole bunch of fun ...
Now everyone is wondering WHY I threw him a surprise birthday party. Check out my awesome evil blog for the answer ...
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Venom, The Green Goblin, Destro, Dracula, Hunter S. Thompson, Bane, Sandman, The Joker, The Riddler, Don Corleone, Lex Luthor, The Undertaker, Andre the Giant, Tor Johnson, Frankenstein, Bela Lugosi, Ed Wood, Natasha Galindo, Invader Zim, The White Stripes, Yoko Ono, Stalin, Dr. Doom, Doctor Octopus, The Lizard, Stephen King, Stilt Man, Magneto, Electra, Bullseye, Spider-Ham, Julius Caesar, Sifl and Olly, Voldemort, Marisa Johnson, Les Claypool, Lemony Snicket, Loki the God of mischief, 1970s relief pitcher Rollie Fingers, Albert B. Falls who was the secretary of the interior during the Harding administration and was responsible for the infamous "Teapot Dome" scandal.
And that handsome devil Mr. Steve who does storytime at the Sacramento Arden Mall Barnes and Noble every tuesdays at 11 am and every saturday at 2 pm because he's just the ultimate male.
I agree! We'll have to figure out sometime hopefully between after christmas and before new years, maybe we can all get together I can meet the wife and kids!
My HQ has been here for over thirty years so I know; yer definitely Northern California's Worst Supervillain. Tell Kraven he still owes me twenty-two hundred and fifty bucks!
I know you are an evil genius because you have a remote control! It's a dead giveaway in the 21rst century. ALL evil villains have remote controls to aid them with their nefarious deeds.
