FAR too much to list.... I'm into all sorts, however I frequently bring up band names such as Nirvana, Foo Fighters, GlassJAw, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Deftones, Soulfly, Sepultura, RJD2, Ladytron, Joy Division, Alkaline Trio, AFI, At The Drive In, Colon Open-Bracket, We Need Leeds, Decortica, Calamity Jam, The Randoms, Andy Gibson, Andrew Keoghan, The Bengal Lights... to name a few.
At the moment, I currently really rate SideKickNick, Sherpa, Dananananaykroyd, God Bows To Math, Hangman, Cosmic Rays of Death, Mean Street, Seno vs. Frank and The Freyburgs.
Heroes
There not heroes as such, more mentors in their own way, shape and form: Professor Richard Keeble, John Cafferkey (tutors at Lincoln University), Troy Ferguson (bFM), Jamie Connor (Fleet FM) Richard Galbraith, Angela Savage Helen Purves and of course, the incomparable Alex Manford (fellow Lincoln University graduates)

About me: So yeah - this *used* to be where "The Bored Housewife Radio Show" once lay. Instead, it's just my personal account now - that's me in the picture. I can assure you that I still somewhat have that smoldering look, if not with some excess weight now....
My name is Benjii Jackson (note the use of two I's), and I am somewhat of a freelance journalist. By somewhat, it means that I currently write for RipItUp (NZ), The Groove Guide (NZ) and despite taking a rest from radio, looking in early 2009 to start up again. I enjoy writing, listening to music and... that's about it. I'm always keen to check new bands out, but if you've been to this site before, you already know this.
If you're keen for me to check your band out for some reason, I dunno, I guess that's what MySpace is for, feel free to flick me a message here to email be at benjii.jackson[at]gmail.com
You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM's MySpace Profile Editor!
Who I'd like to meet: Like minded people - be them bands, fans or people in clams. If this is one of those "Who I'd Like To Meet who is famous" lines, then it'll no doubt be a dinner party with Franz Kafka, Mitch Hedberg, Kathleen Hanna and Kurt Cobain. Killer guests I am sure you'd agree and pretty much an intense conversation....

probs about 9:30. You should make the effort as we are bringing SLS branded paper darts.I think if you keep one of them for a few years it might be worth the paper its photo copied on. :)
Thursday night at Oblivion. The one and only Satan's Little Sister. Go on. Unfortunatly due to the new nature of my drumkit there will be no trashing of said kit. It will on the other hand sound all pretty like. Deniel
