Songs are people songs are places songs are sickness songs are habitual healers songs are rhymes and reasons songs are the controversial cause, the common cure, the unexpected and totally hypothesized outcome, the spark that burns life to symmetrically sleeping cinders, lullabys of luscious labdscapes in which we will be buried, the brash and subtle infusion of consciousness and unconsciousness into empty and collapsing and suplicating brains, the malediction and the whorehouse of policies and spoiled extravaganzas, subdued by nothing and purposely enhanced through vile methods undescribable to some, alien to others, tried and true to yet other classes of nervous systems and veins slashed on behalf of song, because, in spite, whatever the brain comnands the arms of failing strength are sure to incorporate into the massive dismal workload already provided by fear and not so equal or deserved distribution of memories and sharp pains and sharper words of no and yes and maybe and what if and hopefully, the one true word twisted and forged into a negative nuisance. Positive ones do in fact exist, though not for long. Those little flies in the ointment serve holy a purpose, songs of action, songs of the charity of suffering, the coy illusion of an ellusive exit...
