Es war einmal eine Zeit, in der das Rauchen von Havannas und der Genuss von pisswarmen Bier Pflicht waren. Helden auf der Suche nach Rettung und verloren Ausschau haltend nach der letzten Liebe... Der Sound Borgenine..s ist ein Wegbegleiter für diejenigen, die das Leben und seine Abenteuer nicht fürchten. Die Gruppe besteht aus drei Musikern: Daniel Cuberos (Gesang), Robert Nemec (Bass) und Ingo Lerch (Schlagzeug). Die Musik klingt nach den 70er Jahren bis heute, noch tief in den Raum Frankfurts. Eine warme verspielte Gitarre, die ausholt, wenn die innerste Röhre rot anläuft, und die zu schweigen weiß, wenn der Erzähler auf eine nicht unbedingt konventionelle Weise die nackte Wahrheit singt.
Die Musik macht sich breit in einem Raum, in dem die Tiefe auf den Boden der Gefühle trifft. Wer gerne tanzt, möge sich der Musik Borgenine..s unterwerfen. Der tanzt wie die Massen von heute, wird sie nicht verstehen. Der Rhythmus ist der beste. Wer kennt Genesis, Jeff Buckley, Tom Waits, Supertramp, Leonard Cohen, John Lee Hooker, Santana, Rolling Stones, The Animals, Steve Miller, Billy Holiday, Ray Charles, Borgenine etc.etc.etc.? Die Bühne bedeutet für die Band alles. Eine Show ist nie geplant. Man spricht nach einem Konzert lediglich von ihr.
Die Improvisation ist ein Geschenk an den Musiker. Borgenine zeigt sich immer dankbarer.
