Boris Alexander Pipiorke (Alex Sword) started buying studio gear back in 1996. Only two years later he had his first record release on a German club label.
After a couple of releases on labels like Compressed (run by Michael Burkat), SOK, GAMB, Intensiv and Shokoy he started producing together with Tobias Menguser aka John Chevalier. Their first production was released in March 2002 on the re-launched label Phuture Wax (label of Tom Wax).
The track Daumenschraube was one of the favourite tracks of DJ Rush, who played the track at the Siegessäule during the Loveparade 2002 in Berlin. The track was also licensed to the very successful U 60311 compilation (mixed by DJ Rush).
The first Alex Sword EP raised some serious attention. The track Point Six was played very often at the well known YOUFM Clubnight Radio Show - hosted by the DJs Tom Wax and Karotte. The Track was found as well on the playlist of Tom Novy at the mega event Mayday and even the French DJ legend Laurent Garnier likes and plays it!
Since the beginning of 2006 Boris started working with his school mate Thomas Wedel better know as Tom Wax. Intensive and creative working lead to a couple of tracks and remixes which were released on different labels in Germany and other European Countries. In the beginning of 2007 they released two EPs on the Dutch Label "Big&Dirty", one single on the German Label "Klang Gymnastik" und one track on the compilation "Active Agent" of the famous Harthouse Label. The Club-Burner "Wake ups" released on “High Contrast” could be seen as the next milestone of the both discography. This year there will be further releases on the well known label “Frisbee Tracks” of DJ Good Groove and a second release on “Klang Gymnastik”.
In may 2008 Tom and Boris founded a new label called "Pretty girls don't talk". On this label they will release their own productions. Have a look on the label myspace-site!
Boris DJ career started back in 2002 with the success of the project Sword & Chevalier and the release Daumenschraube. Meanwhile he had bookings at the Streetparade in Zurich, Nature One and Osvalds Festival (Latvia). Furthermore he played at the Ubar in Frankfurt (U 60311), at the Airport in Wuerzburg, 50 Grad Mainz and Sven Vaeth's Cocoon Club in Frankfurt. He was guest at the radio show YOUFM Sounds, YOUFM Clubnight and Mixmission @ Sunshine Live. In summer 2008 Tom & Boris are on tour to promote their forthcoming album "Nightflight Entertainment".

Electronic Lifestyle buchte den Ausnahme DJ bereits im März, gewöhnlich spielt John an Samstagen auf dem Mainfloor des U 60311. Jedoch war der Donnerstag im 311 so erfolgreich, dass die Macher von Electronic Lifestyle erneut um ein Booking baten.
Am 17.07.2008 werden wieder nur wenige in den Genuss kommen können, da das 311 von der Größe doch recht begrenzt ist. Also, früh kommen lohnt sich wieder.Unterstütz wird John von Big City Beats Queen DJ Hildegard und den Afterburner Resident DJ Team 2friendsON4decks aka Peter Latino & Jeff O. mit ihrer Turntable Show an 4 Decks.
