Born2Di is a young man with a conviction to take the relevant message of hip-hop and infuse it with the weighty truths of scripture in order to create digestible music that addresses the core of todays issues and touches the depth of the common soul.
With the theme of his debut album, "Apologia", coming from the Greek word for “answer,” taken from 1 Peter 3:15, Born2Di is looking to show believers and non-believers alike an accurate picture of the impact that the historic Christian faith can have in a post-modern world.
One of his first signature tracks, B.E.A.U.T.Y. (Because Elohim Admires the Unique True You), is a mellow ballad informing humanity that we are each beautifully and uniquely made in the image of God and that this should draw us to seek relationship with our Creator. B.E.A.U.T.Y. features the group Cho'Zyn as Dawndia, their melodic songstress/rapper sings the hook along with the gritty, yet lady like punchlines of her partner Trubble.
Outcasts Remix is a bass thumpin', fun track that declares that the believer should expect to be at the fringes of popular society, considering that our Savior was sent to those very fringes to be crucified. This remix features the fresh, clever delivery of MikeREAL as the two encourage Christians to strive to be Outcasts when necessary for the advancement of the Kingdom.
The track Hallelujah, He's Holy adds much life to this album with the upbeat, electronic sounds and rich voice of Church Boy Vocals as they encourage the believer to anticipate Christ's coming Kingdom, despite the sorrows life brings.
All in all, Born2Di hopes that you don't just walk away from Apologia having enjoyed musical experience, but that you are driven to know Christ and celebrate intimate fellowship with Him and believers across the globe.
