Born 2 Jack (NJ and PJ Gibbs) were born in the winter of 2005, both had long been residents at "The End" in Cardiff, showcasing their talent every Friday and Saturday night. NJ was all about the Deep, Jackin’ House and PJ was about the Soul, Funk, Disco, Jazz and Swing.
But on NYE after a back to back 6 hour set, a seed of unimaginable proportions was planted. They had the crowd begging for more with a showcase of everything from the Old to the New, from House to Jazz, from Funk to Swing!

Born 2 Jack’s past & present residencies include: Group Therapy, De'Us, Tangerine, SFTW, Deep Down, SoulFunkGroove and F*ck the Weekend. The list of guest appearances include Lamerica & Cool House (Cardiff), Le Ruz (France), Choobe (Lincoln), Funked Up (London), Incognito and Mischief (Cardiff).
In the summer of 2007, Born 2 Jack entered into the world of production. With many of their influences evident in their tracks, they are slowly building up a very fine catalogue of what they like to call “our tunes”.
In early 2008, Born 2 Jack signed to online label “Group Therapy Recordings” allowing their talents for production to be broadcast into the world of downloads.

Ben (Brown/Unpopular) i like all the tracks. my favourites of real thang are the original and toms mix - especially like the rudebwoy b-line and old style beats of the TSI mix.my favourite of the whole release is programming - i think mostly cos of the samples and the way they are arranged. its good fun.
Mike (Kolour): sch's original broke new ground for these guy's sound. it has a nice disco vibe that works really well in the mix. i've been playing it since john sent it moons ago. the mastering on it came out perfect too. really brings the tune to life.damien's remix features more of the vocal and that's never a bad thing as far as i'm concerned. he churned out yet another remix where he takes the original tune and makes it his own. this is definitely something i'll play tom's remix is definitely a departure from the other two versions. he adds a level of filth to it that contrasts the dynamic of the EP just enough to give it that 'something for everyone' feel.
Quell: I LOVED Damien's old/new school remix and the original version of that track and i really like Toms 'programming' track.
