Influences
Raised in Los Angeles and it's surrounding neighborhoods, our music is a reflection of our city. From East LA to Venice, From Hollywood To Inglewood. All of the sounds and cultures of our streets influence the music we make. Break dancing on Santa Monica Pier as kids, sneaking into The Chili Peppers at The Paladiun as teenagers, watching Weapon of Choice at Cafe Future in Inglewood, and thrashing with Mike Patton at The Troubador. We are an LA band, Los Angeles es mi Barrrio..... WELCOME TO THE GHOST SHOW!
So as many of you have already seen, We are now "Born As Ghosts"! We thought long and hard about what the new name should be. As we thought about our home, Los Angeles, and how our new name should represent both us musically and spiritually. We knew this was not the death of any of our old music but a rebirth of who we are. The idea that everything in the universe is constantly changing. That nothing ever dies, it simply changes into something else, that we are all ghosts in one form or another. We'll see you all at the Ghost Show!
