KENNY BLUE RAY WILL BE HOSTING AT PO'BOYZ SUNDAY BLUES JAM Novermber 8th . STARTING AT 7PM AND GOING TO 11PM!
I share the stage with many talented musicians in the Northern California Blues scene. I learn something new each time I go to a jam. We have a great community of very talented people. I enjoy a mix of blues, funk, jazz, classic rock, and R&B.
My passion is playing blues guitar on my favorite Fender Stratocaster or Tele. I home school with Music and Computer science as my main college goals. I play guitar for several hours every day. You can find me at one jam or another around Sacramento several nights a week. Some weeks I make it to two or three different jams. I obsessively imitate blues riffs and licks of the greats like B.B King, Elmore James, Albert Collins, and Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Vance Kelly and Freddie King. (Well, all the Kings!)
I enjoy drawing, computer programming and swimming as well, and generally spend my free time doing any of the three things. I also enjoy designing levels for videogames and playing them on my local area network.

A few days ago (Oct 19, 2008), I played with Lil' Dave Thompson while he was on his CD tour, at a little Irish pub up in Tahoe! And we managed to get good video...Lil' Dave and his band ripped up the house with his smokin' guitar!

Hey Cody, thanks for the friend request. Nice guitar work. Sorry I'll miss you on Fathers Day. I'm playing at Biscuits & Blues on Friday Night the 19th, opening for Charlie Musselwhite.
