Born Losers són un quinteto barcelonés que lleva más de 4 años practicando rock'n'roll instrumental como ya lo hicieron en su día The Ventures, Davie Allan & the Arrows o The Shadows, habiendo teloneado a gente como Straitjackets o el mismo Davie Allan, que les felicitó por su estilo tan fiel a el suyo propio, y habiendo participado en festivales de surf de renombre como Wipeout Weekend Festival, Reverb in the Olivas y Surforama Festival.
Tienen en su haber dos siete pulgadas, "And she rides along" (en wildpunk records, 2006) y "Tokyo Drifter" (en butterfly-records, 2007) y ya tienen en mente su salto al larga duración próximamente. En directo: sonido cristalino, fuzz, o reverberado, melodioso y bailongo, para todos los gustos, y sobretodo grandes melodías.
Con miembros de distintas formaciones españolas (Fabulous Ottomans, Phantom Keys, Canary Sect, ex-Les Cactus, ex-Critters, Cola Jet Set...), y una media de edad de 25 años, siguen escalando entre los grandes del instrumental en su país y fuera de sus fronteras.
Born Losers are a quintet from Barcelona, who've been more than 4 years playing instrumental rock'n'roll with the likes of The Ventures, Davie Allan & the Arrows or The Shadows, sharing stage with live acts such as Straitjackets or even Davie Allan, who congratulated them for nailing his guitar style, and participating in important surf festivals like Wipe Out Weekend (Calella, Spain), Reverb in the Olivas (Andalucia, Spain) and Surforama Festival (Valencia, Spain).
They've released two seven inches, "And she rides along" (wildpunk records, 2006) and "Tokyo Drifter" (butterfly records, 2007), and there are plans for an upcoming LP in the near future. On stage: crystal clean guitars, fuzz, reverb, melody and ass-movers, there's tunes for everyone, and above all, great songs.
With members of other spanish bands (Fabulous Ottomans, Phantom Keys, Canary Sect, ex-Les Cactus, ex-Critters, Cola Jet Set...), and an average age of 25, they keep climbing the top of the instrumental bands around the scene.
