Born Under Punches is a Charlotte based Alternative/Progressive Rock power trio that likes to make the listener really pay attention. After hitting the music scene in 2008, they have developed a great following in the Charlotte regional area. With musical influences and comparisons to Rush, Incubus and tapping into hints of S.O.A.D (System of a Down), Born Under Punches loves to tease the audience with dynamics, impactful song structures and just pure originality. BUP may only be a three piece band but their sound delivers melodic vocal harmonies, distorted and tasteful guitar, backed by a drum and bass section that will keep your ears wanting more. Whats New: Currently BUP has just finished working with one of the Dave Matthews Band recording engineers, Chris Kress, on our full length album. Release date is 2.19.11.
