Welcome to Borokeete USA we are a unique and rich cultural organization founded in 1987 in Brooklyn, New York in order to embrace and advance Caribbean heritage in the United States. Our goal is to continue to educate people and keep important Caribbean traditions alive, we have participated in as well as sponsored many Caribbean cultural affairs.

The West Indian-American Labor Day Carnival Parade is a spectacular cultural event held annually in Brooklyn, New York. In 2006 this one event brought in over 4 million domestic and international patrons to its famous parade route. Currently, the West Indian Labor Day carnival parade is ranked as the world's largest carnival parade festival.

In the twenty two years of our existence, Borokeete International Inc. has grown exponentially and has always maintained a major presence at this very impressive parade. We have been awarded the prestigious title of Best Costume Band many times because of not only our enormous popularity and great audience anticipation but because of our ability to far surpass all other participants every year.

Last year our carnival presentation was Cibola Quest. Our presentation won our band second place however we were vote the people choice for band of the year title last year. So this year our presentation is Beauty of the Dark Continent. So Borokeete International Inc, is currently seeking your support in our continued ongoing efforts in preserving and promoting not only Caribbean heritage but also brand loyalty to products and services of the highest quality in New York and Tri-state area.

Our official Beauty of the Dark Continent jouney has begun for the New York West Indian Labor Day 2k8 Carnival Parade. This is just a preview and some educational background information. We are honored to have the opportunity to pay tribute to some of these groups and help to share their stories with the world.
