About the storyteller.
This is my story as best as I can put it. I was born in Fort Worth Texas. I was whisked to Borger Texas where I was raised. I went to school just like all the other little kids.
In 1979 I wanted to go to Military School. My parents wanted me to go also, { I was kinda hard headed I guess. } So in the spring of 1980 in New Mexico Military Institute I became a cadet. { Lowest form of life in the world. R.A.T. [Recruit At Training]} It was there I was set in motion as an RPG gamer. My first year was not great by any means. I was introduce to Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. It was the first BOOKS I ever bought or wanted to. My second Year at NMMI was better. I had a room mate, Kit Burgett. He was the Dungeon Master. He was the BEST one I have had. He could roll a story into a tangled mess for non-watching players. {Yes I do have the 1st Ed. Demigods and Deities with Stormbringer. Yes I know how much it is worth.} From that time forward I fell into a release in Role Playing Games.
I finished NMMI and went back to high school as a regular kid in 1983. Borger High School with Tex. Hanna guiding me every step of the way. { I think Coors Light helped in the guiding too. }
In 1984 I joined the Army Reserves. { I was a committed little rascal. } They whisked me away to Fort Benning Georgia. Where a nasty looking Drill Sgt. started yelling at me. For 3 months solid. Then I was sent to the 1st of the 379th Drill Sgt.. Academy. Where I stayed for one year. I moved from there to Abilene Texas. Went to the Texas Army National Guard, 142nd R.A.O.C. {Rear Area Operation Center}. Where upon they whisked me to Holland. I stayed in Holland for seven days till we convoyed to Germany. I was there for one month. On the return Home we touched down in Canada for a brief moment.
I chose, { I don't know why!} Rare Skins as my work. Now what they do is, Handle, Kill, Skin, and Tan Rattlesnakes. {Please Green Peace do NOT e-mail me...} So I started my new found love of handling live poisonous snakes. That job took me all over the GREAT state of Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and New Mexico. I also became a Fur Taker of America. {Once again Green Peace... Leave me alone.} I bought and sold furs.
I was then hired by a man named Mike in Fort Worth where I returned to. {It did not look the same.} He sent me to England then on to Africa. Where might I add was a REAL brain stimulator. If you have not been to a 3rd world country. I just can not quite grasp the meaning. There I handled Monocle Cobras, Adders, Rock Pythons, Brown Mombas. It was thrilling.
I came back to the USA. and found new employment at Texas Department of Corrections. It then became Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Then Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division. {Hell what do you think, we had a drunk was governor.!} Could not make up HER mind. I stayed there for 8 years. {TOO MUCH} What a negative flow of Energy!!! During that time I moved back to the Panhandle of Texas, Amarillo.
I reside now, doing programming work and computer construction. Until I met George. I worked for a law firm to create and administer their network and build their computers. I worked there doing their presentations and a few web sites. for 8 years.
Now I am creating presentations for lawyers for trials and mediations.
I got married to a girl that is sweet enough to let the rowdy crew come over and yells and scream for all they are worth during games. {Thank you baby!} LOVE YOU.
However my love stays with Sharon and our son, Jack. Here I have moved on to the NEW White Wolf Craze. I have been Game Mastering for about 26 Years. { AND HAVE YET TO KILL ANYONE OR BITE THE HEAD OFF OF A CHICKEN! }Yes that is a sore spot. The bad rap RPG's get from the media. The same person that would kill because his/her character is the same person who would kill for landing on Boardwalk with Hotels. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS STOP BLAMING THE GAME!
