Trevor asks the tough question: "How can you preserve this spirit of change beyond the 2008 election? Are you just going to sit back and wait for Obama to make all the changes?"

thousands of heavily manipulated micro-samples and dozens of vintage analog synths
Renowned archaeologist, Ronald Cornelius, recently stumbled across the remains of a new species of dinosaur during a routine excavation along the coast of Oakland, CA. He transported the remains to his nearby home for further investigation. After a night of heavy drinking in celebration of his discovery, Cornelius returned home to a remarkable sight: The fossils had coalesced into two living creatures, apparently due to their close proximity to his extensive record collection. The creatures, startled by his return, stormed into his basement and, in a careless tail-waving mishap, uncovered his collection of fantastic vintage synthesizers and assorted musical oddities. As Cornelius turned to phone the local authorities, he began to hear strange noises emanating from his basement. A biting sawtooth bass sound from his old Micromoog, a snare from that obscure Macedonian prog-rock record his sister-in-law gave him, talk-box gibberish, his Wurlitzer, claps, snaps, feedback, and the unmistakable chant "boss-a-saurus, boss-boss-asaurus".
Egon Brainparts and Negatron Johnson are Bossasaurus. They actually both have mothers with fingernails, belly buttons and opposable thumbs. They did not coalesce from a heap of bones. They make genre-defying electronic music using a smorgasbord of analog synthesizers, effects, unique instruments and self-collected micro-samples. They don't use prefab loops. They don't sample dance hits from 2001, loop them, add a snare or two, call it "Stronger" and then strut around like they're the hottest thing since sliced bread. They hate on bad music. They make good music. They are meticulous about what they do and listeners across the world are taking notice. Recent reviews such as the following from vimby.com further validate this belief, "If you like funk/jazz, electronic/banging, hip-hop/trip-hop or old school/futuristic sampling, then you have great taste in music and are going to love this group…They are surely all of the above done to absolute perfection."
Bossasaurus is currently busy putting the final touches on their debut album. They are wrapping up recording the song "Guidance" with Weightless records emcee Illogic, and are exploring collaborations with other talented artists for their upcoming release. They are working with clothing designers to start manufacturing their own line of hoodies, complete with teeth, eyes, and anatomically accurate plates running down the back. Bossasaurus has received enthusiastic responses from a diverse array of fans spanning from Aesop Rock-reciting hip-hop heads to glow-stick twirling Justice groupies to crate-digging DJ Shadow fans. Emmy-award winning producer Asa Taccone of SNL's Dick-in-the-Box fame called Bossasaurus, "the hottest music I've heard in a while man, seriously". And who knows, feel around on the side of your head, and if you have ears you might like them too.
