The project of Bossa Tres began in 1994 when Marcos Oliveira joined forces with Luciano Antonio to play in a samba group called Chicago Samba. After years of playing together, Luciano and Marcos realized they both had the same musical ideas. In 2003, Marcos joined Luciano again in another musical journey where both played in a group with a different musical style called Evanston Escola de Samba (today called Orquestra de Samba). Meanwhile in Brazil, Dill Costa was involved in several projects as a singer, director, writer, actress and participant in the Brazilian Carnaval parade as a Samba Queen.
In 2004, Luciano and Marcos had an opportunity to see this beautiful and super talented singer, Dill Costa, perform at the Brazilian Festival in Chicago. Coincidentally, Chicago Samba had a gig as a trio and we needed of a 3rd person… So, fate started to put the pieces together. A few months later, Dill joined Luciano and Marcos as a member of Orquestra de Samba. After several performances with the Orquestra de Samba, the trio officially made a their concert debut at the Music Institute of Chicago Theatre on 10/1/2004. After this concert, they realized the huge potential of this trio and decided to start regular performances around Chicago.
Today, Bossa Tres is building a solid reputation with their unique style and talented members.

Today, after couple years, we're proud to work together with the possibility of the spreading Brazilian Music around the world.
