Ho deciso di fondare la Boss Hoss records nel 2007 dopo varie esperienze nel mondo della musica, prima come batterista poi come proprietario di un negozio di dische e organizzatore di concerti. Ma quello che mi ha fatto innamorare di questa stupenda musica che è il garage è stato appena ho comprato un disco dei Sonics. E' stato amore al primo ascolto, una musica cosi potente, esplosiva ma anche piena di armonia.Cosi' decisi che questa stupenda musica sarebbe finita su cd o vinile per la gioa mia e di chi scoprirà le mie produzioni. Ho cominciato con una compilation di band della mia citta, per far conoscere un sottobosco di gruppi e di generi diversi, poi mi è capitato tra le mani il demo de The Barbacans e subito ho prodotto il loro primo 7". A seguire è uscito l'albun d'esordio "God save the fuzz" accolto molto bene dalla stampa e dai cultori del garage, specialmente in Spagna, (in seguito stampato sia su cd che vinile). Ah si, il vinile un mio sogno che si avverava, stampare un vinile e tenerlo tra le mani dopo tanto lavoro. I progetti per il futuro sono, la realizzazione di un nuovo 7"con la partecipazione di The Barbacans, Thee Vicars, Los Explosivos e Los Peyotes, tutti i gruppi parteciperanno al 7" con un brano inedito e il nuovo disco dei The Barbacans che dovrebbe vedere la luce nei primi mesi del 2011. Jeffry .... .. I decided to found Boss Hoss Records in 2007 after various experiences in the world of music, firstly as a drummer and then as the owner of a record shop and booking agency. But what made me fall in love with this amazing music is garage was when i bought a Sonics' LP. It was love at first listening, a music so powerfull, explosive but also full of harmony. So I decided that this fantastic music would finish on cd or vinyl for my joy and for whoever will discover my productions. I started with a compilation of local bands to make known an underground scene of groups and genres and then .. a demo of The Barbacans fell into my hands. I immediatly produced the first 7": then The Barbacans first album "God Save The Fuzz" (CD and Red LP ltd edition) was released, being very well received by the music press and garage fans alike expecially in Spain. My next project is a new amazing 7" with The Barbacans, Thee Vicars (uk) Los Exlosivos (mex) and Los Peyotes (arg): All the bands will participate with a inedit song... and the 2th album of the Barbacans in 2011. Los Infierno plays ”Ragazzo Di Strada” with Pyramid Carnarelli on vocals and The Barbacans reinterprets “I’m Not Like Everybody Else” in Spanish with Chok Fermoso! Well… it’s a must to have it! Los Infierno debut was the November 20th en el Club Imperial, having immediately a great connection with the people and signing the beginning of a promising career, playing various concerts around the Mexican Republic catching the attention of the medias. In March 2010 they played around Mexico with the famous european band the Incredible Staggers and in July 2011 the released their first LP called “Nada que Perder ” playing together the legendary peruvian band “Los Saicos” (considered the first garage punk band in the world from 1963). The song “Nothing to Lose” was the first single played on stations like Reactor 105 and Ibero 90.9, is now rotating in these stations the 2nd single “I’m the Rock n Roll” which also have an official video .

Coming out the first album of THE KAAMS! The album is finally in print! 12 tracks of garage-explosive rock’n'roll! For now,digipack version will be available through the cooperation of Boss Hoss Records and Area Pirata.
The Kaams come out screaming from Bergamo (Italy) in fall 2009. Started as a duo piece by Andrea Carminati (vocals/guitar) and Marcello Giannelli (drums), the band released its first Ep “She’s a Killer” in march 2010 on Bedo Records/Dirty Water Digit Records. At the end of the same year a new 7” split titled “Chose Your Coffin – The Kaams vs The Monolithics” was released on Boss Hoss Records and distributed by Area Pirata. After several line-up changes Andrea has finally found the right mates: Marco Facheris (guitar), Alberto Mafessoni (bass) and Tiziano Carozzi (drums). 2012 is a busy and exciting year, a lot of gigs all around Italy, a German tour in May and most of all the long-awaited 12 tracks full length album that will be out in June, once again on Area Pirata/Boss Hoss Records. “UWAGA! is a perfect mix of r’n’b, garage, punk, blues nuances and melodies, a time bomb ready to explode” (cit.)

Did you ever see that movie from the 60’s called “Mondo Cane?” They featured a 4-star restaurant in that movie that was in Mexico City that served cucarachas. People ate them. They fucking ate COCKROACHES in this overpriced trough! Speaking of Mexico City, I just listened to the new album from Los Explosivos. These sick sacks o’ shit is from Mexico City, too. I’m pretty sure they eat cucarachas for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Los Explosivos probably got them from behind their refrigerator though, then picked them up with their bare hands, tossed them in the air and caught them in their mouths, then washed the cucas down with each others drool and vomit. I say that because these kids are sick with the rock’n’roll disease! Los Explosivos are dirty stinking rotten Mexicans, but not because they’re Mexican. I mean their sound, man! This band papa-oom-mau-maus like trashmen, and screams “Louie Louie” like swamp rats! Yeah! Maybe they eat swamp rats, too! Killin’ and real legit el garage-o-punk-o from Mexic-o! Ay-ay-ay! Let’s bring the border fences down and get these kids some visas! With the latest and lamest American limp-dick “weird-punk” and shit-gaze” trends, the gringo youth could really use a lesson from Los Explosivos in how to fuck shit up with two chords and some huevos grandes. Ole!

A COMBO OF 60's PSYCHEDELIC/GARAGE/PUNK. LISTEN WITH CARE !!!

After a stint in New York City as drummer for Dan Melchior's Broke Revue, GD Mills (aka Sir Gregory Fuck Knight) packed up two drums, a cymbal, two sticks and a microphone and headed west to Minneapolis on an art school scholarship. In the aftermath of a violent 'destruction of school property' performance which ultimately lead to his expulsion, Mills formed Fuck Knights in 2007 with bassist Joe Holland on the very same day as the I-35W bridge collapse. Basement keggers soon became crowded bar gigs, word-ofmouth became press coverage, self-made cassettes became 7" records released on regional and then European labels (including an EP recorded by Gary Burger from The Monks), and shared bills with the likes of King Khan and BBQ Show, Greenhornes, Black Diamond Heavies, Brimstone Howl, Human Eye, Jacuzzi Boys, Lover!, Monotonix, and Peelander-Z became tours throughout the U.S. Great Lakes/Rust Belt region. "Fully endorsed" by Maximumrocknroll and described by Mongrel Zine as "way cool psychedelic garage punk", Fuck Knights' raging, ragged rock and roll, according to Smashin' Transistors, "pays homage to the 60s but doesn't care to sit around and play dress up because it's been proven that jumping in a time machine is corny. They just wanna play loud, probably get drunk and maybe get laid (or get arrested trying)." Featuring Mills on lead vocals and an upright 2-piece drum kit, Holland on bass, guitarist Benjamin Sommers- Bachman, and David C. Steffens on trumpet and harp, the band is gearing up to release its first full-length, "Let It Bleed", on Pesaro, Italy-based Boss Hoss Records in June of 2011.

BACK FROM THE GRAVE THEIR ORIGINAL GARAGE HITS AFTER 20 YEARS!

The band was founded in Morciano di romagna with the early name of "Dirty Shadows", thanks to Enrico's sister that after met G.T. in the legendary Slego Rock Club in Rimini. After a year of performing as resident band at Rockabilly's club and some other gigs, with great public acclaim, thee Catacombs were born. Even without Facebook, musical fortune arrived to these guys thanks to their live performances & stage-presence. The same succes was repeated at the Slego Club, a milestone in italian underground rock, even though garage punk beat was in decline. Other than festivals, large and small of Mod & Beat, local radio interviews, we still remember them at Slego, live, supporting the american band, the Miracle Workers. The public went crazy and they were invited to join a small Austrian EP Label. The group disbanded at the peak of its success and musical maturity. In its wake came thee Catacombs, formed principally from songs written by Gabriele and Enrico but also everything from Louie Louie to Strychnine. Immediately after, Enrico and Ivan founded "Thee Hairy Faires" loosing themselfs, from of the reims Gabriele, to cut 2 LPs, the first of witch contained both Thee Catacombs as covers. So here we are, after 20 years, thanks to stubborn integrity of Keyboards Albano and Gianfranco of Boss Hoss Records an Anthology will finally be released to "AFFASCIANTI" of the purest blood ever seen in Italy.
