I want to thank everyone here. I’m going to be gone for awhile, it may be less but it looks like I’ll be away for about 6 months. (No, I’m not going to jail.) I may manage to check in from time to time, but it won’t be very often. I’ll be leaving Monday.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – ABC News has drawn fire for an upcoming special on President Barack Obama's health care plan after rejecting a Republican request for airtime.

During the special, the president will discuss his health care plan and answer questions from a cross-section of Americans.

The event will not include an official Republican Party response, prompting the Republican National Committee to complain to the network.

Iran's government says incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the winner of the election with a landslide 62.63 percent of the vote. Top opposition contender Mir Hossein Mousavi takes only 33.75 percent of vote in a result disputed by his supporters.
What the AP forgot to add -- those supporters were brutally beaten then beheaded by Ahmadinejad's cabinet members.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is insisting that so-called "comedian" David Letterman "apologize to young women" for a joke he made on the air about one of her teen-age daughters.

Letterman had joked that a Palin girl "was knocked up" by a player at a New York Yankees baseball game. He seemed to be referring to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, an unwed mother. But it was her 14-year-old sister Willow who was at the game with family members.

Letterman admitted on his show that his wisecrack about a theoretical statutory rape of one of Palin's daughters was in bad taste, but didn't go further.

I'm waiting for this asshole to joke about his bastard son, born out of wedlock..naaah, that would never happen nor would CBULLSHIT allow it on their air.
