| About Both Guns Blazing |
Hailing from Omaha, NE, Both Guns Blazing formed in cold winter months of 2004. In a time where trends and image are more important than the music itself, BGB wanted to bring the masses a unique mix of metal yet to be heard of. They begun practice in January of 2005 and had a solid set list by April of 2005 in which they performed their first show and has never slowed down. They recorded their first single "Altar Of Kings" in June of 2005 and it soon became a fan favorite getting regular rotation on 89.7 the River's local show "Planet O." They continued to play anywhere and everywhere they could throughout 2005 and opened for Strikefirst/Facedown artists Becoming The Archetype and War Of Ages, and soon after that they went back into the studio to record their second single"Feast Your Eyes Upon The Ruin." They soon landed a spot on the Second Annual Dimebag Memorial Show in December of 2005. While proving they could play with the big dogs and building a solid fan base in 2005 BGB started 2006 off strong landing a first show co-headlining spot with Metal Blade's mighty Power-Metalers Cellador and continued to play tons of shows during the year including a sold out Third Annual Dimebag Memorial Show. 2007 and beyond looks to be very promisning. They are releasing their first album "Endeavored To Become More Human." Look forward to big things from BGB this year!
Both Guns Blazing is all about bringing the ruckus, but they also have a very melodic side to them. They have very strong sing along choruses mixed with fast and brutal riffage, breakdowns, intricate guitar solos, memorial melodies, and a live performance that is among the best in town.
