About me: Bo Karlen's journey started in his home of thirty years Portland,Oregon where he was a pioneer in the underground rave scene. His first party was a trip to San Francisco to see a dj named Sasha at the opening of Sound Factory. It changed his life forever! With a bigger vision in life of entertainment and music together with no limits, he transplanted in Las Vegas in the spring of 1996, where he started his production company, Botown Productions. With the emergence of the house scene there, it was an easy fit for him to use his love of people and vision of music to meet the people already responsible for the beginning of the historic Club Utopia! That is where he joined forces with one of the creator's, Las Vegas pioneer Gino LoPinto to start the world famous Spermint Rhino afterhours that changed the way people partied across the country! He has countinued to produce and promote some of the biggest parties across the country as well as his own productions including, The Annual Vegas Prom,Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball, Las Vegas's exclusive mansion parties as well as being the West Coast promoter for the Ultra Music Fetival and Wet Grooves in Miami for the last 5 years along with his own Las Vegas Hotel/Unity closing parties.
Since the beginning of Empire Ballroom, Botown Productions has been a fixture there promoting the afterhours and throwing some of the best parties in Las Vegas. Now with the emergence of the newest Vegas after hours,Penthouse gentlemen's club,he continues his quest to keeping his loyal followers up past their bed time. His name and unique look are known world wide and he has the respect in the industry as one of the top promoter's it the world. Along with his artist management, marketing, a travel agency, vip services, an upcoming world tour and now as one of the owner's and producer's of the Annual Vegas Alliance Music Experience, Botown Productions and Vegas Alliance will continue their vision and love for the music throuhout the world. Karlen and LoPinto have been a force in the industry throughout the country for many years and will continue to bring you their vision of music and it's purpose in life. " My goal when i moved here was to become the biggest promoter in the world some day " stated Karlen. I would say with his look, personality and drive for music, he is on his way!
