B.O.T Started out like like a lot of
bands do... Beer and a love for music. Well at least in this case there was plenty of both. B.O.T. emerged from the garage late in '04 playing open mic
nights at the Palm's Hotel and then on to your nearest smokey bar shortly thereafter. The original arrangement of members in the band was an ecclectic group,
one that you probably would have never brought together to play this style of music. A tatted up ex-skater from Vegas/San Diego; a preppy college kid; a
husband and father of 2; and a 46 year-old hispanic fella who REALLY likes his oldies.
Well these guys did it! They created something Awesome!
They started out slow, but with the sincerest love for the beats and music they were creating and a professional attitude that preceeded them at every show,
BETTING ON TOMORROW's reputation for being a solid punk band grew leaps and bounds over the past few years.
Do to LIFE, however, B.O.T has
undergone some changes. The original heartbeat of the band, Bill Ramirez, has moved on to Cali to help take care of his family. And the fire that lights us,
Marc Dedario, forgot to pull out or thought he was in a different hole or something, managed to have a beautiful daughter and has now refocused his drive on
her.
So Here We Are!
Betting On Tomorrow is Bigger - Stronger - Faster! Al N. is crankin' out the catchiest of hooks and dropping chords
that'll have you humming for weeks. Brandon B. is writing and belting out huge vocals that will make you laugh, think and spark your inner punk all the while
accompanying Al on guitar. Enter Mr. Mike Wise and Mr. Robert Detie (Dee-tie). Wise is the anti-stereotypical "punk drummer." Blast beats and straight up
punk beats ARE in his repitoir sure, but who cares? The sheer speed, innovation and obsession that Mike brings to the stage puts him higher than any drum
risers can safely reach. Detie on the other hand, refuses to accept that the bass be played underneath the music...as just part of the rhythm section. Rob
added a whole new versatility and lead aspect to the bass not commonly found in any style of music. Added his vocal ability and love for the stage, Rob Detie
is a huge part in making B.O.T what it is now. Combined with Al and Brandon's ever so sweetly distorted, dirt moving, cranked up guitars and Rob and Mike's
pulse changing, chest pounding, fist pumping beats and rhythms -
B.O.T is the evolution in punk.
BETTING ON TOMORROW is Full
Throttle. Inspired. Committed. Professional. Ready. Currently recording what may end up to be 2 full length albums B.O.T hopes to see you in your town soon.
If you can't wait, come see them in Vegas! You don't need any another reason. Oh and don't be affraid to offer em a drink... ...seriously.
